Chapter sixty seven

Ashlyns POV

I woke up with a headache then realizing Brennan my best friend was sleeping right next to me. My head hurt so bad I wanted to cry.

"Brennan" I moaned holding my head with my hand as tears started to come down. "Hmm? You okay?" He asked with a tired voice turning over to face me. "No, my head hurts" I said now crying.

"I'll be right back" he said getting up and walking out of the room. I then saw the light turn on. I reached over to check my phone receiving 6 messages from my boyfriend.

Caleb❤️ "hey babe I'm so sorry about your dad and I hope you feel better soon I'm so sorry I'm not there with you" he said I started crying even more after I read it. It's 3 in the morning now so I'm not going to answer him back.

"Hey baby girl" Andrea said coming back in the room with Brennan. "My head hurts and I miss dad" I said in the tears that now turned into sobs. "Baby I know it will get time to get used to knowing he's gone but here let me go get you medicine and a wash cloth I'll be right back" she said I smiled as she walked out and Brennan getting back in bed. "Hey" he said "hey" I said whipping away my tears.

"You don't think Caleb will get mad if I'm in the same bed as you?" He asked I laughed a little "no your my best friend and his he won't get mad but maybe a bit jealous" I said we both laughed when Andrea came back in the room. "Here you go honey, take these and here's your wash cloth" she said "thank you mom" I said not caring what I said until after I took the pills and laid down with my eyes wide. Andrea laughed "don't worry sweetie it's alright" she said leaning down to kiss my forehead. Instead I just pulled her into a hug. "I love you" I said as she pulled away she smiled and said "I love you too" and that's when I started to feel love again.
