Matt Colin and Charlie were having a very nice time watching Phineas and Ferb. Until Angel nearly broke the door down.
She burst into the room screaming. She walked over to the couch, put her face in a pillow and screamed. She sat there with her face buried in the pillow for a second before Matt broke the silence. "What's up, Angel?"
She groaned.
"I completely understand your situation." Matt said.
"She kissed him." Angel said, punching over a glass that fell the the floor and shattered. "She kissed him and now I'm mad."
"Who? Clark?" Colin asked.
"What? Ew, no." Angel said. "My brother. A girl kissed him and that is 100% not okay."
"Why not?" Matt asked. "Your brother is 17."
"She's not good enough for him! No one is!" Angel shouted.
"It's okay sweetie," Matt said. "You're gonna get over this."
"But she's a stupid head girl!" Angel cried. "Not even like, a C average girl. A stupid, bleach blonde stereotype, cheater girl."
"It's gonna work itself out." Matt said. "Trust me."
Angel sighed. She tried to perk herself up for Charlie's sake. She said the only thing she could in sign language. 'Hi Charlie'
'Hey Angel' Charlie waved, turning back to the tv.
"Hey so friends I have fun news," Colin said in a 'this isn't actually fun news' way.
"What?" Matt asked.
"Check your Facebook." Colin said.
Matt took out his phone and opened up Facebook. After a minute of scrolling, there it was.Jessica Montigue
So excited for Disney trip in four months! I know that's a long time away, but I can't help it!
*insert picture of plane tickets here*"No. Way." Matt said, rereading the post.
"Uh huh." Colin nodded.
"But... But the play is in four months!" Matt cried.
"What?" Angel sat up and looked over Matt's shoulder. "Oh dear god!" She said. "We can't do the play if she's in Orlando! It's Beauty and the Beast! We need the beauty!"
"What are we gonna do?" Colin sighed.
"Get your bike," Matt said."Sir, please." Matt begged.
"It's four o'clock." The principal said.
"Sir, the reputation of our drama club is at stake!" Angel cried.
"We just need to call in a few people," Colin said.
"No." The principle said flatly.
"Please?" Matt begged, getting down on his hands and knees.
"No."
"Pleeeaaaasssee?"
"Mr. South, I suggest-"
"PLEASE SIR!" Matt groaned. "THIS IS IMPORTANT BUSINESS."
The principal hesitated. He passed Matt the phone and a list of contacts.
"That was rather irresponsible of him, leaving us with the whole contacts list." Angel said.
"Well this is a work of fiction," Matt said.
"Matt! What have I told you about breaking the fourth wall?" Colin cried.
"Oh yeah, right." Matt said as he continued to look through all the numbers and emails.
After several phone calls they got most of the drama club together at the school.
"Alright, Matt." The Drama teacher said. "Why have you gathered us all here today?"
"Because Jessica is leaving." Matt said gravely.
"What?" Everyone gasped. Matt heard a few whisper "Good riddance" which he might have said too had this not been an emergency.
"What?" Jessica asked. "No I'm not."
"You posted it on Facebook." Matt said. Colin pipes up with "Twitter," "Instagram," Angel said. "Snapchat." The guy playing Lumiere said.
"That isn't for months," Jessica said. Boy she really is dim.
"You know what else is in months? The play!" Matt said doing sarcastic jazz hands.
"Ugh, whatever." Jessica groaned.
"This isn't a whatever!" One of the designers cried. (Matt believed her name was Emily but there was no way to be sure.) "You're the star of the play! This isn't like if Baker #2 has to leave, because we could find a way without Baker #2. It isn't Baker #2 and The Beast, it's Beauty and The Beast! We need Beauty to be here!"
"Ugh, I'll be back in time for the play." Jessica said in a bored tone. "Seriously, you're over reacting."
"Over reacting?" Angel cried. "We've already put a lot of time and money into this play, Jessica. We've had to do a lot of fundraising for this. The stage crew has put a lot of effort into the set and costumes. You're putting all of this in jeopardy... And you think we're over reacting?"
"Yes." Jessica said. "Quite frankly I do think you're over reacting. You're acting like children."
"We're all in middle school!" Colin cried. "We are children!"
"And most of us are older than you anyway," an eighth grader playing Bell's father chimed in.
"Are you gonna take this seriously or not?" Matt asked, hands on hips.
Jessica groaned. "I'll be there," she said.
"Jessica," Mr. Hartlen started to say. "If you can't be-"
"I said I'll be there!" Jessica shouted. Her One Direction song ringtone started going off. (Which Matt thought was Suuuuppppeeeerrrrrr Basic of her to have.) She answered the call, turned on her heel and walked out the door.
"I thought we were only supposed to be dramatic on stage," someone muttered. "What a foolish girl," Colin sighed.
"Mr. Hartlen, what are we going to do?" Matt asked.
"For now, we wait." Mr.Hartlen said.
"What?" Everyone muttered.
"If it doesn't work itself out we'll find something else to do." He said. "Just wait."
Matt sighed. "I'm sorry I've wasted everyone's time. Meeting adjourned."
