The Deal:
1867 – Elizabeth’s POV
“Father, please don’t make me do this!” I begged.
My father sighed and looked at me with sad eyes, “This is the only way to protect the village. You know that, Elizabeth. Yet, you continue to beg me.”
I felt the tears in my eyes spill over my face. This was only happening because father was making me marry the beast of our village.
A loud knock echoed through the house. I froze and looked at my father with pleading eyes. He shook his head and made his way to the door. It opened and I turned my head away. I wouldn’t look at the beast. Not now. Not ever.
I would like to say thank you to teardropsintheocean for helping me. Read her stories there amazing x
