NEW CHAPTER YAY!

Meeting Him

Ella Steven’s the name. I was just like any other fifteen year old girl. My favourite colour was aquamarine and I love music. I had no siblings and my parent liked it that way. My mum always said that I was enough. I had one best friend called Maddie. She was my partner in crime, as people would say. I couldn’t imagine what my life would be like without her. We fit together like two peas in a pod. She had been there for everything.

My life was nothing special though. I lived the life of any teenager. At least until I met him.

It was just like any other day. Mum was cooking in the kitchen, dad was working in his office, and I was sitting in my room. Then there was an abrupt knock at door. I went to answer it, knowing mum wouldn't bother to and dad wouldn’t even hear it. I turned the knob and opened the door. A man was stood on the doorstep. He looked directly at me and froze. His eyes looked black they were so dark, and he had matching black hair that went perfect with his complexion.

“Hello, may I help you?” I asked him, trying to snap him out of it.

He did and gave me a breath-taking smile, “Hello. My name is Adrian and I have some very important business with your father to attend to.” I sighed. Of course he did. /He must be very important to work with my father. I mean it because he had to be in trouble to work with my dad.

“Of course. I’ll show you to his study.” He nodded and I led him to my dad’s office. I knocked on the door and opened it a crack, “Dad,a man called Adrian is here to see you.” He called for us to come in and I fully opened the door, gesturing to Adrian to go in.

My father froze the moment he saw the man. His eyes went wide and he gulped before motioning for me to leave the room. I left like the obedient child I was, feeling like a stupid dog. After walking back to my room I told myself I was an idiot and should have stayed to listen by the door. That way I could have found out what was going on. But I was too lazy.

But now that I was on my own, without him, I felt completely alone. Almost incomplete. How was that even possible?
