It was a beautiful night. The sky was clear and every star was visible. To be honest it was one of the prettiest sights I'd ever see. Yet there was another sight, much more beautiful than some balls of gas.

That sight was my best friend.

It honestly hurts me to say that. To say we are just best friends, and nothing more. So I decided that I'd hopefully make him like me back. And lucky for me, he was in town.

The first thing I did was call him, even though I had no clue what to say.

"Hello? Are you there Tyler?" His accented voice asked.

"O-oh yeah, I just wanted to ask you if you were free tomorrow?" I replied with a slightly shaking voice.

"Are you asking me on a date?" He asked, and I could just hear the grin in his voice.

"Yes I am," I said gaining my confidence back.

"Okay, where do you want to meet and what time?"

"My place, and around 7," I replied, then hanging up the phone.

I can't believe I just did that! I can't believe he said yes! Okay, calm down Tyler. You're acting like you're a school girl and her crush just asked her out. I'm even talking about my self in third-person.

I glanced at the clock beside my bed to see it was 9.

"Fuck it, I'm going to bed." I said out loud.

I then laid down and fell asleep, my dreams filled with everything that could go wrong.

-Time Skip because the Author is lazy-

I glanced at the clock to my left to see it read 7. I was so nervous. I spent all day cleaning and trying out recipes for this date. Which of course I wouldn't normally do, but this was Craig.

The door bell rang and I immediately went to answer it.

Before me stood Craig, he was wearing casual but somewhat fancy clothes. It included a blue shirt that was tight fitting enough to show the little amount of muscle he has. With that was some black skinny jeans and some high top converse. I snappe my self out of staring by speaking instead.

"Right on time," I said with a smirk.

"Y-you know me," he replied with his nervousness obviously in his voice.

"It seems you were a little more confident over the phone, what happened?" I asked him in a teasing voice. I knew that he was an awkward yet somehow adorable person in real life. In real life I was the opposite over the phone I was no good. I preferred to see the person.

"I-I uh, well, you see, I umm...." He said, his voice wavering and I just laughed.

"Come on it, I have everything ready," I told him. My smirk was evident on my face as I opened the door and let him walk in.

I led him through he living room and to this dinning room where I had darken the room, and added some candles. It wasn't anything like a fancy restaurant, but more like someone who puts candles in there bathroom. It was calming and relaxing.

"Whoa, this is beautiful!" Craig said in awe and I smirked yet again.

"Hopefully it meets your standards," I replied with a smirk.

"Of course it does you dummy, it is exquisite!" He exclaimed, still gaping like a fish.

"Wow, such big words." I said and took his hand. I lead him to the small table in the middle of the room and pulled out his chair. I then went into the kitchen to fetch our meals. When I returned I saw Craig twiddling his thumbs, with a nervous look on his face.

I set the plate in front of him (and where I was sitting) and unveiled the meal. It was spaghetti and meatballs, topped with cheese.

I then went to sit in front of him and said 2 words.

"Dig in," and we did. We ate the whole the while talking about random events that have happened in our lives. From child hood stories, to our teenage years, even stories from when we first started YouTube.

Honestly I thought of it was a beautiful night, full of smiles and laughter.

When we finished the meal we both let out a heavy sigh.

 "Hey Craig?" I asked him.

"Yeah?" He replied with a questionable stare.

I walked over to my IPhone which was plugged into some speakers and started to play a song.

"Can I have this dance?" I asked while putting me hand out. He smiled and put his hand in mine. Then we started swaying. It was his hand in mine, chest to chest, with his head resting on my shoulder.

We just kept swaying. No words said, just enjoying each others company.

And we did that for many other nights.
