Inexplicable Attraction: 9

At a quarter to nine i begin getting sad, everything has dies down. the crowd is gone. and now we only have a couple of people in the shop. im sitting down on the floor, continueously looking out at the door through a hole on the counter, at the door. i look up at the clock, i still have ten minutes, but he's still not here, maybe he isnt going to come. maybe he's going to stand me up like so many people do.

i frown, stop amanda, stop thinking so negatively. be optomistic, think positive.

thats when i hear the dorr bell ring, i imediately stand up, if its our boss, i could get in trouble, and if its James, well i dont want to be found on the floor anyways. i dust myself off and smile, 

"hello..." i look at james smiling face, "oh hey," i look up at the clock. "let me go change."

he nods, "okay"

i walk into the back room ans take off my shirt, i put on my normal shirt and a sweater. i grab my bag and practically run back into the shop. i sign out, "by ben. my times up. see you later"

he smiles, "later. have fun" he says with a wink. 

i can feel myself get red so i turn away. i walk up to james, he smiles. "ready"

i nod, "yup".

james drives us to the beach, he already has a blanket and flowers set up. i look up at him to find him looking at me again.

"i wanted to do something.... special" he says looking away shyly.

i smile, "its beautiful" i walk to the blanket to sit down, there are red flower petals all over the blanket, no one had ever done this for me, and even if they did somehow knowing james did this for me makes it much more special. 

"thank you" i say as i sit down.

james looks down at me and smiles, "your welcmoe"

i giggle, as he opened a basket and pulls out a chocolate heart, my eyes widen as i stare at the perfect heart. i love chocolate. its wrapped in a plastic and has a rippon around it. 

he looks at me and frowns, "do you like it"

i shake my head and throw myself at james, wrapping my arms around his neck. "thanks." i say finaly feeling the tears on my face. i try to wipe them away, but i know he already saw me.

"no one has ever done this for me... ... no one" i place my head on his shoulder. 

i then feel his hands wrap around my waist. i look down and notice that im sitting on his lap. i blush and look at his face.

"im sorry..." i bite my bottom lip. i do that when im thinking, or embarassed. "i didnt mean to get into this position"

james chuckles, "nah. its fine"

im still looking at his face, into his eyes. when he leans in and places a kiss on my lips. i can feel myself get red but i dont push away, somehow being with him right now feels very good.  i lean in again but so that our faces are inches apart. i dont move after that, but i dont have to because he leans in and kisses me. this kiss is a little more demanding, but it feels good. i kiss him back and after a couple seconds i feel him bite my lower lip.  

we kiss for a couple more minutes before he pulls away. he places his forhead against mine.

"i really like you amanda" he says looking into my eyes.

"i like you too." i whisper and lean i to kiss him again.

the next day i wake up probably the happiest girl in the world, i open my eyes and looked around my room.  Emily was in the room. 

"so why did you come home like at 1 A.M.?" she says hovering over me.

i smle, "good morning Em."

she smile, "done change the subject. you were out with him werent you. you are way to happy today. the happiest you have been since you lost your V card"

i smile, "em no one uses the term V card. " i said pulling the covers over my head.

with no such luck because emily just pulled then off me. completely. so i was lying on my bed without covers. i then hear her talking to someone, and running footsteps, my dorm room open. i open my eyes and look at all of my friends smiling eagerly.

"what happens" Lily asked, getting two centimeters from my face.

i smile, "nothing"

Jenny speaks next, "dont lie to us. something happened, or else you wouldnt be smiling like a madman"

i try my hardest to frown, but my face doesnt want to be sad, i smile again. "ok ill tell" i say sitting up on my bed. "i saw him at the coffee shop. he asked me out. we went to the beach for a romantic picknick and we kissed. no sex. nothing big. but it was sweet and romantic."

Jenny, Emily, and Lily sqeal like little girls.

"i knew it" emily says looking at me and smiling, "im so happy for you"

Anna speaks next. "do you know where he lives. do you have his cell phone number."

"yea, we want to speak with him, tell him if he hrts our Ammy we will hurt him" jenny says now with a mad expression.

i frown, "i forgot to ask. and i dont know when im going to see him again" i say finaly thinking about communication. im dumb, i dont even know when im going to be able to talk to him.

"ill figre it out next time. if there is a next time" i finish laying down on my bed again.

"no!. there is a next time, no guy can make you this happy and not want a relationship. your going to see him... ... eventualy" emily says.

i giggle, "wow em. assertive much" emily scrunched up her face.

"i only want whats best for you. and i know this gy makes you sper happy, you need to somhow see him again."

"and we need to see him" jenny says eyeing me.

i suddenly start laughing. "the next time i see him, ill tell him my four best friends need to meet him and approve of him"

lily smirks. "greak, then its settled. now if you'll excuse me i have class in a couple minutes. and Ammy you have class in half and hour" she says looking down at her watch.

i nod. "great. now get out and leave me alone"

jenny groans "fine"

they all leave the room, even em. i stay by myself and begin getting ready for class.

i hope you like it. so yea school is starting. right now i upload every other day. but i dont think thats going to happen anymore. ill try to upload twice a week. so yea, every single story ok.
