It's been nearly a week since my date with Erwin and I hadn't heard a word from him since. I was starting to get worried, wondering if he had changed his mind about wanting me back. After Erwin and I had kissed on Saturday, no words were exchanged after. I just went inside and went straight upstairs to my room, surprised to find Armin there. He explained to me that he was staying with Eren while Mikasa was out on a business trip, so I'd have a roommate for the next month. This past week hasn't been all that horrible with the little blonde coconut-head around, but I was slightly annoyed that he followed Eren literally everywhere like a lost puppy.

I decided to call Petra and invite her over, and she happily accepted and was over in under five minutes. She hugged me tightly when she saw me. "Thank god you're safe, Levi! I was worried sick about you!"

I laugh and roll my eyes. "Why? I'm obviously fine," I say, gesturing to myself. Petra smiles and pinches my ear lightly. "Ow, stop!" She sticks her tongue out at me and giggles. "Petra, there's something I wanted to ask you."

Petra cocks her head to the side. "What is it sweetie?"

My head swivels left then right, relieved to find Eren and Armin nowhere in sight. I pull her over to a booth and sit her down, folding my hands. "It's been bothering me for awhile now and I want to know...what is your relationship with Erwin?"

Her eyes widen slightly. "Where is this coming from?"

"When I bumped into him after leaving your place last Saturday he said he was on his way to see you. I didn't think much about it until now." Petra blinks, confused.

"He never came to visit me. The only person I saw that night was you, Levi."

"You didn't answer my question. What is your relationship with Erwin, Petra?"

She narrows her eyes. "Erwin is my boss, Levi. Nothing more. You know I've worked for Erwin for a long time. Why are you so worried anyways? If you're worried I'm going to try and steal Erwin from you or something ludicrous like that, trust me, you do not have to worry about it."

"Are you still friends with him?" I ask quietly. "Are you still friends with the bastard who raped me?" I growl.

Petra laughs and points at me. "Seriously? You're worried that I'm still friends with your rapist yet you went out on a fucking date with him not even six days ago? So what if we were still friends? That's nothing compared you going on a date with him! Who goes out on a date with the same person that raped them?!"

I grit my teeth and growl at her. "Shut up! That's my choice! I chose to let him back into my life! That has nothing to do with you!" I cringe at my own words, instantly regretting them. Petra's phone interrupts me, ringing loudly from her pocket. She retrieves it with a sigh and answers aggressively.

"What the hell do you want?" she hisses, scowling and shoving the phone in my direction.

I put the phone to my ear, feeling a bit relieved when I hear Erwin's voice. "Is Petra okay? She sounded a little ticked off."

I sneer. "Yeah, ticked off at me."

"You? Why?"

"Can you come pick me up? I'll explain then." Erwin seems a bit caught off guard by my proposal but agrees. I hang up and toss Petra her phone, disappointed when she catches it.

"He's really got you wrapped around his fat finger already, doesn't he?" I bare my teeth at her and let out a low growl.

"Shut up. Stay out of my business."
