Hey everyone! So I'm currently writing this at 3 AM because:
1: I can't sleep.
2: I was feeling nostalgic so I came back to read through this story, and you guys deserve an explanation as to why this story has been on hiatus for so freaking long.
First off, I want to apologize for my ridiculously lengthy absence. I know there are a lot of you who greatly enjoy this story and really look forward to updates, much of which I'm sure we can all agree are long overdue. I want to thank those of you who have shown your support for this story by voting and/or commenting, it seriously means a lot to me!
So anyway, long boring story short, I was a huge fan of Attack On Titan when I started this fic; I'm still a big fan, just not like I used to be.
There was a very special person in my life when I started writing this fic around two years ago. They are actually the reason I started this fic. I associated them with everything AOT, because that's what brought us together. Unfortunately things just did not work out between us, and we're no longer friends. I think that's why I'm having trouble coming back to finish this fic; because it will always remind me of them. I have an emotional attachment between this person and this fic. I don't know if I'll ever be able to look at the AOT fandom or this fic the same way again because of the emotional attachment and association between the two. I honestly haven't been able to write very much of anything since, and when I do, I'm lucky if I can even get a couple paragraphs down.
Unfortunately I can't make any promises as to exactly when the last few chapters will be up, but I hope you'll be glad to hear that I have been working on the next chapter bit by bit while it's been on its ridiculously long hiatus, so don't worry; this story WILL be finished eventually!
That being said, really the only thing left I can say is just don't forget to check your notifications and keep an eye out for any updates to this story!
Again, thank you guys so much for reading this fic! I really hope you guys have enjoyed it so far, and I hope you really enjoy the last few chapters when they finally make their appearance!
