The moment Eren set me on my own feet after carrying me upstairs to the loft I shut myself in my room and cried for an hour. I've never been more humiliated by Erwin than I was just then. Eren tried desperately to get me to come out, or at least let him in.

But I couldn't let him in. I couldn't look him in the eye after he saw me like that.

Erwin knew what he was doing. He knew that if he touched me just right I'd go into heat. Looks like the bastard got exactly what he wanted.

"Levi please, please open the door."

My ears were flattened against my head in humiliation. I hugged my knees closer to my chest and sniffed as I shook my head even though I knew he couldn't see.

I heard Eren sigh on the other side of the door. "Levi, please...let me in..."

I couldn't keep him out even if I wanted to. I needed Eren right now more than anything. I needed to hear his comforting words and feel his warm embrace. He made me feel safe, and I needed so badly to feel that right now. I needed Eren. So why was I shutting him out?

I knew why. If he touched me, there's no guarantee I'd be able to avoid embarrassing myself. I knew, yet I still managed to bring myself to walk the five feet it took to get from the bed to the door and turn the lock to the left.
