(This is from a novel we read in French class called Zone it's about the ending, and how I felt after reading it.)
A breath fades
A love who lives
One is gone
The other in tears
They loved for a second
Before sirens brought doom
Both had to escape
No one was supposed to leave
One tear fell
As the last breath wished
Hope was squished
In their home
Where love was known
2 people bled
The others fled
A home once loved
Now abandoned
The sirens blare
As loves only fare
