I can't believe what I have just said.
I just told my music teacher, who must be at least ten years older than me, that I find him extremely attractive.I look down in complete embarrassment.
"I'm sorry David. That was out of line."
I can feel his eyes on me.
"Out of line is right, Julie. We should at least get to know each other more..unfortunately class is over. But you'll have another music class with me later.""Okay, see you later, David." My cheeks are burning red.
I walk out of the room and check my timetable. Next is...History.
I trudge into room 4 and await my English teacher, Claire.
She walks in and greets me.
"Hello Julie. I'm Claire. Welcome to the school."
"Thanks. I hope it will be a good experience."
"It is, it's wonderful here."Claire takes a book from a shelf and begins explaining the Nuremberg Rallies. However my mind could not be further away from Nazi Germany.
David continues creeping into my mind. Everything about him.
When he said..
"We should at least get to know each other more.."
Get to know each other more before what?*Davids POV*
Wow. Julie really shocked me with what she said. She is a very beautiful young woman, and I'm looking forward to teaching her this year. But I can't help but realize how incredibly gorgeous she is.
I would love to get to know her more..take her to dinner..but I can't. The rules of a teacher dating a student are so strict.*Julie's POV*
As I finish taking notes, the History lesson concludes. It's time for a break, and I just want to have a cigarette more than anything.
Students pile into the kitchen, and I am the only one who steps outside and sparks up a cigarette."Hello, Julie."
