Leah leaves the room, and I pick up the same pages we were reading from.
It looks like complete confusion. I honestly don't understand a word of it.
I sigh to myself.
"Whoever this new music teacher is, they'd better not be as confusing as this."
The door opens behind me, and Leah walks back into the room with a man beside her.
Oh. My. God.
He is literally perfection.Leah smiles at me.
"Julie. This is David. He will be teaching you music."
David holds out his hand,
"Hello, Julie." I shake his hand and stare at him in complete awe.
His hair is fiery red, with a hint of orange, cut and styled beautifully.
His thin face, and delectable lips.
Leah leaves the room, noticing that another teacher was calling her.David sits where Leah had sat before she went to get him.
"Since there is only five minutes left of class, Julie. Tell me a little about yourself. I haven't seen you here before?"
I swallow the lump that had formed in my throat while admiring his handsome features, and reply.
"I just moved here. Today is my first day. I'm going to be 17 in October. I live in the countryside. Nothing too fancy. Pretty boring, actually. What about you?"
He smiles at me as if he was completely fascinated by my oh so boring life.
"Oh, that's wonderful that you live in the country! I'm sure it's not that boring."
His English accent seeps through the air. He's gorgeous.
"It really is, David. Trust me."
He chuckles.
"Okay then. I believe you."
He looks right at me, his eyes burning right through me.
His eyes are mismatched. One iris larger than the other. I'm looking at his lips and I bite my lip. I clear my throat and look away."Why were you looking at me like that Julie?"
I gulp. Shit."Looking at you like what?"
He looks at me with a smirk.
"You were looking at my lips, Julie. And you were biting your own."
"Oh. No reason."
"There is a reason, Julie. Tell me."I let it out.
"Because I just find you extremely attractive, okay?!"
