"Mitzi, have you seen my black and blue flannel?" Questioned a teenage boy, no older than nineteen that was rummaging through the dirty clothes pile in the two story house.
A girl appeared from around the corner, her arms crossed watching the other.
"Can't say that I have, are you going some where?" She asked.
The brown haired boy looked up, he rubbed his blue eyes with a sigh.
"Yes, I have a date." He told his younger sister.
Mitzi rose a brow. "With that Cassie chick again?" She questioned looking at the messy laundry room, she felt annoyed just looking at the mess Elias created over one stupid shirt.
Elias stood up, letting out a heavy sigh; he turned to the dark haired brunette.
"Yes, any more questions?" He said with his arms crossed now.
Mitzi grinned before shaking her head.
Elias nodded then exited the laundry room, Mitzi glanced to the mess with a sigh.
"You're cleaning that up, right?" She called out after him.
She walked down the hall, to the last door on the left with a frown; Elias was looking through drawers.
Mitzi frowned, she looked around then to the closet. She wanted to face palm, not only was Elias; NOT wearing his glasses. His shirt had been hanging up the whole time.
She snatched the glasses off of her brothers night stand then placed them on the other with a annoyed expression.
"You wear these things for a reason, your shirts been in the closet this whole time." She scolded.
Elias looked to the mud red eyed girl before walking over to his closet, sure enough. It was true.
He gave his sister an apologetic look, she rolled her eyes then exited the room for her brother to get ready for the date.

Mitzi sat on the couch in the family room, her knees to her chest as her eyes stared at the t.v. while it showed "South Park." She looked at her right wrist where a scar rested, she frowned softly; glancing around. She brought her nails to the scar then began to scratch it, she winced feeling a newspaper connect to the back of her head. She turned around with a glare, to only have a glass in her face; full of thick red liquid. Elias stood there, all fancied up and looking quite smashing; as he would call himself.
"Don't itch that, and drink up." He ordered.
Mitzi rolled her eyes, she took the offered drink from her brother then downed the blood; she licked her lips looking to Elias who was already looking to her.
"You're going to have to slow down on the blood, the hospital is beginning to notice the blood packets that are going missing." He said.
Mitzi frowned. "The vampires take from there all of the time, I don't see what the big deal is.. I am a demon, I have to drink blood too." She murmured looking away.
Elias swallowed, he frowned then looked to his phone.
"Cassie is ready, I have to go meet her; please stay home and don't get into trouble." He told her before exiting the house.
Mitzi pouted, she was left alone; AGAIN!

She frowned hearing her stomach growl, she knew she wasn't the best cook in the world; and she knew she got that from her dad, Elias on the other hand.. could be a chef if he wanted to be.
She removed herself from the sofa and darted into the kitchen, she yawned softly opening the fridge.
The sound of the front door opening, made her stop looking.
She looked over her shoulder. "Elias?" She called out.
Mitzi closed the fridge door, then turned off the kitchen light. She took a deep breath, then closed her eyes and listened.
Someone else was in the house, she knew it wasn't a vampire; they had to be invited in. She could hear the other person breathing, it was a female.
Her eye twitched after hearing foot steps.
Her eyes shot open, grabbing the figure by the shoulders; she slammed them into the wall. She hissed darkly at the other as her eyes turned black and her fangs bared out.
"If you bite me, I will fucking rip your teeth out." Threatened the other.
Mitzi rose a brow at the voice, she flipped the light switch on then grinned finding her best friend, Emerald there. Although, Emerald wasn't grinning back.

"Why did you think I was someone else?" The brunette questioned at the table, a glass of blood sat in front of her as Mitzi chopped up a tomato.
"Because you didn't say anything, nor did you knock before entering my home; you're lucky Elias is out. He would of been mad." She said.
Emerald rolled her green eyes with a frown. "I was coming to check up on you, I loved the greeting by the way." She said in a annoyed tone.
Mitzi grinned looking at the other. "Next time say something." She said.
Emerald frowned. "There was a fight down the street earlier.." She began.
Mitzi turned to her friend now, with full attention. "Elias..?" She questioned.
Emerald shook her head. "No, this was before he went out; he looked nice by the way." She said with a toothy grin.
Mitzi rolled her eyes with a smirk. "Fangs off, he's still with that Cassie girl." She told her.
Emerald looked at her with an arched brow. "The red haired girl?" She questioned.
Mitzi nodded.
Emerald took a drink of the blood before gagging. "What the crap is that? Positive A blood?" She asked.
Mitzi sighed. "Yes, Elias told me the hospital is running low on blood packets; now stop changing the subject. Who was involved in the fight?" She asked.
Emerald frowned looking at the back of Mitzi's head.
"It was Cassius and Rhett again." She murmured.
Mitzi sighed, she walked over to the table then took a seat with a frown.
"When are they not fighting?" She questioned.

Emerald smiled softly. "Right? But it got weird, because the moment Ronnie and Roxy showed up; the fight stopped." She explained.
Mitzi frowned. "You know Ronnie is a hunter, and Roxy is a witch; we both know Roxy could kill them both with one simple spell." She murmured.
Emerald looked to the other. "How is Roxy?" She asked.
Mitzi shrugged with a soft smile. "She's been studying nonstop since Mr.Johnson mentioned our test that is in three days.." She said with a laugh.
Emerald smirked. "We are going to fail." She declared.
Mitzi grinned with a nod. "Hell yeah we are." She said.

Emerald ended up staying for dinner, well to be honest. She cooked most of it, she had to snap at Mitzi when the other added some blood into the hamburger meat; the meat was already bloody enough and drowning it in blood, would have tasted disgusting and runny.
The two friends devoured their blood burgers, the difference between vampires and demons was that; demons had to have blood with everything they ate or drank, vampires only needed it at dawn and nightfall.
Emerald wiped her mouth before grinning at the other, Mitzi had blood on her left dimple and on her chin; she could swear that Mitzi ate like a five year old at times.
She walked over to the sink then ran some hot water to wash the dishes, Mitzi joined the other after cleaning her face.
Tomorrow was school, and for some reason; Mitzi felt excited about the idea of it, Emerald on the other hand. Wanted to ditch.
It was on a Monday, and everyone she knew; hated Monday's, and for some reason. Mitzi hated Thursdays, and only the mud red eyed demon; knew why.
