Origin Of Darkness.

Chapter Eleven.

I felt my eyes open, which meant I was alive for another day; no vampires showed up the night we all returned, and Elias was still here.
I sat up with a soft yawn, my hair was everywhere as I looked out the bedroom window with a frown; there was no telling how today would play out.
I removed myself from the bed, then stumbled into the bathroom; a warm shower sounded heavenly but an ice shower sounded even better.
I turned the cold water on full blast before undressing.

I walked down the steps in only a towel around my body and one for my hair, I froze in my tracks finding a full house of demons.
Emerald, Leanne, Chloe, Alister, Kenny, Cassius, Foster, Cain,Delaney and Kaelyn were all here. I stood there with slight wide eyes.
"Does anyone want to explain why there are ten demons in my house?" I questioned.
Kenny rose a brow with a soft smirk. "Care to explain why you're only walking around the house in a towel, doll?" He asked.
I looked at my wardrobe before rolling my eyes. "Well, I was going to get a bite to eat; but seeming how my friends are all here." I stated.
Emerald crossed her arms. "Myra, Remi, Avery, Clyde, and Levi are also on their way here. We're all here to talk about the outsider threat." She told me.
I crossed my arms with a frown. "Let me go change." I said.
Kenny removed himself from the couch. "I can help, doll." He said.
I flashed the other a glare. "I can change myself, thank you Kenny." I told him before running upstairs.

I sat on the couch between Levi and Cain with my arms crossed, Emerald stood in the front with Leanne; the two were looking at everyone in the room.
"Okay,  so we all know that outsider vampires are threatening to come to this town in order to kill Mitzi for being a mutant; we also know they will attack anyone who tries to protect her." She stated.
Remi crossed her arms looking at Emerald then to me. "Vampires aren't as strong as demons are, with only a blink we could have that vampire ripped open." She told the others who all nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, but vampires can also paralyze humans and the supernatural; Zeke put someone in the hospital for looking at him in the wrong way." Clyde murmured.
I ran a hand through my hair. "The vampires here aren't the ones were supposed to go after, none of them have tried to come after me yet." I commented.
Kenny looked to me with a frown. "That's because Skeeter has done something in order for them not too, doll. I don't even understand how you can trust him." He told me.
I looked to him with a frown now. "It's not that I trust him, its that he came out and told me about the mutant thing.. he could of kept it to himself." I said.
Cassius nodded. "Not to mention, according to Leanne; Skeeter saved Mitzi from being killed by one of his own." He told him.
Kenny rose a brow but nodded.

Emerald looked to everyone with her arms crossed. "Okay, also. We know we have to keep Elias safe, him being a human gives the vampires a huge advantage." She said.
Levi rose a brow. "He's a human? Why not change him then..?" He suggested.
I looked to Levi with a disapproving look. "No, I don't want this life for him; plus. The vampires would only try to kill him knowing hes a demon.." I said with a sigh.
Chloe frowned softly. "If we had more demons here, maybe this wouldn't seem so intense. I mean, we're high schoolers, and some of us are heading into college. What the outsiders are doing, trying to kill Mitzi.. it's stupid." She murmured.
Cain nodded in agreement before looking to everyone else. "Skeeter told Mitzi that there are six or seven mutants in this world, so if that's true; the vampires are going to try to hunt them all down." He said.
I frowned softly. "I don't understand why the vampires are so disgusted with mutants.." I murmured.

"Its because of the blood gene that is crossed in your system." Skeeter said on the staircase, all eyes were on him and most were glares.
I looked up with my arms crossed. "It doesn't mean the vampires need to get pissed, no one knew mutants were going to exist.." I told him.
Skeeter crossed his arms as he walked down to join us.
"You must be either really brave, or really stupid being as confident as coming to a house full of demons." Kenny spat.
Skeeter rose a brow. "I'm not alone, Rogue and Elsie requested to come; of course. Mitzi has yet to invite those two in." He told the blonde who shot me a glare.
"Doll?" He questioned.
I frowned softly, I walked over to the door to find the other two vampires there awaiting their invitation.
Elsie's hazel eyes sparkled as she smiled softly, her red hair rested at the center of her back looking at me.
"Hi Mitzi, will you invite us in?" She asked me in a high yet soft voice.
I glanced over my shoulder before opening the door wider for the two vampires to see the fifteen demons inside all glaring their way.
Elsie smiled softly before stepping in then past me followed by Rogue.

"It's not the fact that mutants exist, its that demons have vampire blood in their systems and it causes issues for others. Vampires and demons are supposed to hate one another, but with you being a mutant. It shines some light on the reason why." Rogue told me

Elsie looked to me. "With you having vampire blood in your system while being a demon, the vampires see it as a threat." She added.
I crossed my arms with a frown. "And if I were to say one of my late relatives were a vampire and their blood was already coursing through my veins?" I questioned with an arched brow.
Rogue frowned. "You had a family member who was a vampire?" He asked me.
I nodded with a frown.
Elsie looked to Skeeter frowning. "Then the outsiders are unaware of this knowledge.. but it still doesn't change anything to them." She murmured.
I ran a hand through my hair looking to Emerald and the others.
"Then we will just fight them." Cassius stated.
Rogue looked to him with a frown. "You're prepared for the outcome on that statement?" He questioned.
Cassius looked to me with a soft smile. "Mitzi is our friend, she's family to the demon culture even though she has vampire blood in her system. I'm pretty sure we're all prepared for the outcome." He told the other.
I smiled softly to Cassius.
Skeeter frowned. "Each of you are being either very brave or really stupid." He said glancing to Kenny who smirked.
"Using my lines now?" He questioned.
Skeeter shrugged before looking to me. "You're putting each of your friends lives in the very palm of your hand, are you okay with that?" He asked me.
I frowned looking at him. "We are all aware of what will or will not happen, however." I walked up to Skeeter with my arms crossed. "If you, or any of your vampire friends, try to stand in our way or attempt an ambush; we will not be responsible for the outcome on your part." I hissed.
Elsie skipped up to me with her arms crossed. "I'm sure the vampires can take care of themselves, what about your brother?" She asked.
I frowned looking to Skeeter who avoided eye contact now, I looked to the red head with a confident look. "Elias will be safe here, all of the demons are going to keep him safe." I told her.
Elsie tilted her head with a grin. "Good. It wouldn't end well if something were to happen to him." She said.
I looked at her confused as she walked over to the door, her arms behind her back as Rogue followed her.
Elsie grinned at me. "Best of luck, Mitzi.." She opened the door, stepping out then turned to me with one final look. "You're going to need it." She said as the door closed.

I stood there with a speechless expression, I turned to everyone else who were looking at me.
Kenny frowned. "All in favor that doll's vampire friend is creepy?" He said raising his hand, I watched as every hand raised; even Skeeters.

Yeah.. sorry about yesterday, a lot was going on and I wanted to give myself a break; I don't know if chapter twelve will be up tonight or sometime tomorrow along with chapters 13&14. I know I want to make this story longer than my other stories, but I honestly don't know how far this will go. I'm trying to get to the plot of the story without this becoming a run-on story.
