"You want a beer?" My friend, Emilee, asks.
"Nah, I'm good." I reply. I've never been a drinker.
She looks at me like if I'm crazy. "Okay, you bore." She says rolling her eyes.
People find it weird that I like to go out to parties and hang out with people whose hobbies seem to be solely drinking and doing wild thing but like I said, I'm not a drinker. I just like to have control over my actions. If I were to get drunk, I'd most likely do something idiotic and later regret it. So for now, I'll stay with being the sober friend that has to take care of everyone.
I look around my surroundings realizing I haven't seen Clara? I haven't seen her in about thirty minutes. I push my way through the crowd of people trying to find her. I always have to remind her not to leave my sight, I trust her to make good decisions but guys these days are just too sketchy to trust them around her.
Clara is one of the popular kids at school, she's well liked so every guy tries getting in her pants but I've trained her well so she's not easily motivated by boys and their lies.
I finally find her, sitting on top of a cement wall with some guy with red hair I've seen around before. I'm relieved when I find her but the feeling quickly fades away when they begin kissing. Well, maybe I didn't teach her that well. When they pull away from each other and jump off the wall they had been seated on and begin walking towards the gate I begin to panic. Oh no, not tonight. I'm pretty sure I went to high school with this guy so why is he making out with my little sister?
I run towards them trying to catch up.. "Clara!" I scream out.
"Clara!" I scream once again, finally getting her attention. She turns around scanning the scene to find out who's calling her name. When she sees me her then smile turns into a frown. I can tell she's gonna be pissed with me by the way she rolls her eyes but I am not letting her leave with some random guy.
As I walk towards her she crosses her arms and leans on her hip.
"What do you want?" She huffs out.
"We're going home." I say walking away.
"No!" She yells back at me.
"What do you mean, no? You don't even know this guy!" I say motioning to the oy standing behind her.
"Alex! It's really none of your busi-" She begins but is cut of when the boy she was with grabs her forearm and makes her jump.
He shakes his head at her as if saying, 'It's not worth it.'
She rolls her eyes and gives in. "Sorry." She says to the guy she was with.
He simply shrugs.
She turns around and begins walking towards me, eyes scowling. When she finally reaches up to me she doesn't stop, she simply shoves me with her shoulders and keeps walking passed me.
