I often came by here...
It gave me a sense of peace and calmness. Just whiling away the evening watching the waves crashing against the rocks and returning back. The wind blowing on my face, ruffling my hair gently. I felt alive. No troubles, no worries. Just me and my thoughts.
Ugh! Those eyes again..Those impossibly blue eyes.. I may have forgotten him. But those eyes would remain etched in my memory forever, I guess. I forced myself to concentrate on the sight before me, instead.
I sat on my usual spot, on top of the highest rock which made me feel that I was in the middle of nowhere. The sea was not too far from my house. A ten minute walk, maybe. The seagulls were shouting, announcing the end of the day. The sun was setting. A huge ball of fire being swallowed by the massive ocean. I liked to imagine it that way. The sky had become a beautiful colour of orange and pink. The view was breathtaking...
"Oh no! I am late.", I whispered to the winds.
It was 6:45. Mom had told me to reach home by 6:30. I had to run an errand for her. I really lost track of time here. Well, anyways my little time of bliss was over. I hurriedly grabbed my jacket, thrown over to the side and started speed-walking home.******
Its my first attempt...so pls pls pls comment, vote and spread the word...I would love your suggestions...enjoy!Keep spreading love....
