"Hey! What the hell, Hazel Lawson....Are you even listening? Or are u deaf or something?!", my best friend, Nita screamed in my ear, clicking her fingers in front my face. I shook up, as if woken from a dream. "Did you not hear a single word I said? I have been trying to get your attention for a couple of minutes now." I smiled sheepishly, mouthing, "sorry". "I bet my prada... You were thinking about dreamboy..". My eyes widened at her revelation, and just as I was about to protest, she smirked, "And now, you are blushing too..."
"Just leave that... What were you talking about?", I said attempting to change the topic. "Oh no! You thought I will let you get away that easy?" I groaned, regretting the day I told her about him. Actually, I never meant to tell anyone. But I guess it kinda slipped out. "You know what, Hazel... you need a distraction. I'll need to fix you up with someone."
"No... I don't... "Oh, just shut up! This time I am not listening to you", she cut me off. "It's been a year now."
