It had been a long day, and I had somehow not seen Adam throughout the day, considering school was not that huge. I could almost believe he had not come back. But I know that is not true. My heart knows. My eyes fluttered shut as these thoughts were weighing my mind.
I was by the beach. It had been a long time, since I had come here.I was wearing a white flowy dress, the ends of which were caressing my ankles. I was barefoot, as my feet padded along the pure white sand. The sun was just setting, casting a golden glow on the shadows. I was awe, just as every other time I had come to witness the sunset. It was cold. Shivering cold. I wrapped my arms around myself, stopping to stand still, where the waves touched my feet.
Just then, someone ran a finger along the length of my arm. I gasped, withdrawing my hand. Turning my head, I saw Adam. Standing right beside me, he looked like an angel. Like he had aura of his own. I took in his features. His chiseled jawline. His midnight black hair, falling on his forehead. His lean, but strong arms. He cleared his throat, giving me an amused look. I just blushed, furiously.
He held out his hand, raising an eyebrow, as if to say, "Do you trust me?"I placed my hand in his, without a second thought. He then closed his hand around mine and placed it on his heart, as we walked into the peaceful evening.

I woke up with a start. As soon as I did, fragments of the dream came back to me. Well, for me, it was not just a dream. My mind had such weird ways of working.... The memories which I thought I had successfully hidden in the deep recesses of mind, were coming back to me through dreams. I silently cursed him. Why did you choose to come back?
