Sunday; 2 pm

I had woken up not realizing that i even fell asleep. Brooklyns foot was along my face, she seems to have fallen asleep again just this time all over me. i pushed her body off mine without the intentions of waking her. I could hear my phone ringing like crazy, it was my sister nicole.

"Alex! what are you doing? i got a call from london studios..you're making me look bad" i grunted and sighed. it wasn't like she gave me an actual date or time to be there. i thought i was just supposed to show up and introduce myself.

"oh my god, nicole i totally got caught up in something." i said crunching my face together as if she could see me right now.

"i kind of figured you did, so she said she'd be willing to give you a second chance you have 2 hours to get ready! hurry"

nicole clicked on me and i suddenly felt the pressure to be someone i wasnt for today. i've had a job before but it was nothing like this. what does an intern wear for a music company as big as london studios.

i took a quick shower and styled my hair with some simple beach waves. i wore a pencil skirt and buttoned up collard shirt. i looked like a waitress, not an intern. but my main focus was to get the job first, i left brooklyn a text that i was going to be out for the day. i got my things and programmed my phone to london studios. it took me a half hour to get there but i did get there, early too.

A woman by the name of amanda which i only know of because her name is on her desk called me up to speak.
"you are?" she asked bluntly.
"Alexandra.." i said not sure if i was supposed to give my full name.

"i need you to fill out this paperwork and bring it back to me when youre done." she said while typing something on the computer, she didn't even look at me. i took the paperwork and began to fill it out. i handed them back to her and she looked them over pretty fast before saying "okay have a seat, he'll be right with you shortly." she was a very distant person. the type you would have to break down before you could get anything out of her.

she was outrageously gorgeous and i was really starting think i wasn't even alive anymore, there was just no way there could be so many stunning people in one city. i stood corrected when a man with a suit came out, blue eyes, blonde hair and sleeve tattoos, i could only tell that because when he extended his arm out to mine you could see where the tattoo began. he was very charming.

Amanda stood up out of her chair and had the biggest smile on her face, you could tell the man clearly made an impact on her life. he smiled at her than glanced back at me, i took his hand in mine and shook it firmly. he guided me into his office where we disccused my work ethics and how i would be of value to the company, it wasnt as hard as i thought it would be and just like that i got the job.

i felt a sense of confidence as i walked out the room, there were many beautiful ladies who worked here which meant he must think im beautiful enough to work here. there were some pretty handsome guys as well but they seemed to be focused on their job and not the women.

it seemed pretty corky for them not to even glance once at the women that worked in the same facility, but then again none of the women were paying very much attention to them either. i walked myself over to my cubical where a macbook and high sufficient equipment were on my desk.
