9:45 am

my heart began racing when i realized i had to eventually walk up stairs, eventually meaning now. i had no idea why i was getting nervous, maybe because i wanted to make a better impression than the one last night. i started making my way to the stairs, watching the tea steam flow out of the cup. it was getting easier to walk as long as i stayed focused on the hot cup itself. i was too interested in the cup that i hadn't realized kaden was coming down the stairs. we collided into each other so fast, the hot drink itself spilled on my hand all causing me to drop the cup on the floor. it shattered across the cool wooden floor, my first intention was to pick it up with my hand but kaden stopped me grabbing my hand.

"what are you doing? you dont pick up glass with your bare hands." he said looking me in my eyes. i scanned his face and i could feel a bit of anger flow from his skin to mine.

"its okay, theres big pieces kaden..i wont hurt myself" he looked at me as if he wanted to tie me up for the rest of my life for saying something as ridiculous as that. he pulled me to the kitchen and picked up some kitchen towels that were hanging on the stove. he handed me one and we both walked back to the spill. he picked up the large shards of glass while i wiped the tea, it was a bit cold from moments ago when it was hot. i couldnt help myself, i took small glances every chance that i could at him. the way he was moving made his shirt move, and i could see some tattoos. i was intrigued to know what they were and what they meant to him. i looked up a bit more and he was looking at me. oh no, he seen me. he just seen me stare at him. he just WATCHED me stare at him. i stopped wiping and stood up, trying to make it less awkward by turning away from him.

"im just gunna go get another..towel" i said furrowing my eyebrows in and walking quickly towards the kitchen. i knew that he was smiling, i felt it. this kid was giving me more butterflies than my ex boyfriend nick. i threw the towel in the sink and turned the faucet on. i let both my hands rest far apart on the kitchen counter away from the sink. i closed my eyes and leaned my head down a bit to calm myself. i turned the faucet off and turned swiftly to see kaden standing in front of me, and i mean really standing in front of me. he was so close our noses almost touched.

"heres the bag of glass shards, be careful." he smirked as if he was mocking me. in that instant i felt so embarrassed. he began walking to the front door, and my mouth decided to speak before my mind.

"what about your hangover?" i squeezed my whole entire face shut as if it was the most desperate thing i couldve said for him to stay. he turned to me and i heard a soft chuckle before he spoke. "im all better." he opened my front door and walked out. i felt myself let go a huge breath i didnt even know i was holding in, i threw the glass away and opened the fridge.
"oh shit the groceries!" i said to myself forgetting i was alone.

i ran upstairs to grab my wallet and headed back down to my car. i made sure my card was in my wallet before driving off to the store to get some condiments. i was walking down aisles piling up on tissues, towels, soap, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner. i got a reminder text from nicole that Monday afternoon was my interview at london studios.

i began pushing my cart, through the food pile, im pretty sure i picked out almost everything for each isle. i had too, my kitchen was bare. my shopping cart was way over full, i had to stop every 10 seconds to pick up something that fell. i finally got to the line and with my luck one was empty, i simply took my time putting everything on the belt so that he could scan. he was rounded figured, not over weight but not skinny either. he smiled at me and i smiled back at him. he had pretty hazel eyes.
"youre the first girl to smile at me so thank you.." the store employee said. i suddenly felt angered at how rude people can be, but i replied. "how could i not? you have the prettiest smile yourself! and your eyes are gorgeous!" i giggled. im sure he gave me dicounts on some stuff even though i was sure i didnt need it. he was my favorite store clerk, he even helped me with my bags to my car.
