Iridescent

It's Sunday, a day of rest. As I lay in my bed singing "Where the broken hearts go" I hear a knock at my door. I fling the blankets over my body. "WHAT!?" I see a pair of huge golden eyes look at me with puppy dog eyes. "I have to vacuum the spare rooms now. At least as routine ya goon" I smirk and get dressed.

Creatures lie here
Looking through the windows
Time will

I sing and play this as he cleans the room. Its actually a song I have never ever sang and played before but I played it so fluent. I see him smiling as he vacuums. "WHAT. You don't like my music?" I insist. He looks at me while re-positioning his hair. "Not that at all love, I have just heard this before." Im confused I just made this up. before I can rebuttal he says. "Meet me tonight in the forest down by the river?" His eyes so big and undeniable. "Okay, under one condition" He looked pleased. "And whats that?" I look in the air "Bring pizza and Captains" He chuckles louder than he should have "Okay Angel"  Every time he called me Angel it fills my heart. Why?

I tell Sam what happened and get ready for the night. I put on my belly button shirt, flannel, vans, heavy mascara, and pop punk confidence. As I get ready I wonder why ever since I have been to this town I have been so confused. This is not the time Angie...Maintain confidence. 

I enter the forest. I lear near a tree near by. Behind it I see those light gold eyes. They are enchanting. I walk to the eyes and I see a blanket, pizza, Captain, and The Front Bottoms playing. Its like this man knows me. "You fulfilled your duties" I giggle as I sit. He looks more serious than usual. I take a swig of captains after I finish my pizza. We look up at the iridesenct light in the sky for awhile. He looks me in my eyes "They are gold today" He says delightfully. "How do you know my eyes change colors?" He looks as if he has something to hid. "I would say its because I have seen them already different colors which is true but that's not the case." He grabs my hand "Angie, you are something special. Do you remember anything that you feel is not of this life?" This is a heavy question. I take a shot. "Well lately I have been feeling things that are familiar that I have not experienced before." He grabs my chin. "What if I told you that I am a ware wolf and you are a soul keeper?" I giggle. "I would tell you that your crazy, I have never been anything" He takes a swig. "You know that is not true. Come here." He stands up, tall and strong. 

"Follow my eyes"

All i can see is a gold pair of eyes leading me into the forest. I follow willingly, with my heart forward.

"Do you see the lights angel?" He says as we approach the clearing.

I see shooting stars flying. Its beautiful. How are his eyes brighter than the lights though?

In that moment I see something behind the gold eyes. I see red eyes. Dark deep red.

I see a man with dark short hair appear from the shadows near the river. I look at Zayn, he is growling. I look at the man, he is hissing. Before I know it The man turns into a bat and Zayn turns into a wolf. What the hell was this Captains spiked. The wolf growled "Liem get away." Why can I understand this. The bat stated "i'm here as a warning. Stay away." Zayn howled "I am not scared!" The bat flies away. Zayn changes back normal. he grabs my hand. "I am going to take you home now, just think about what I said darling"
