THE BROTHERS' POV

We watched as Wren ran to the back door of her house. We heard the slamming of car doors being shut from inside the garage and Ian scented the air.

Ian - 'The male werewolf that was here a few days ago is with them. It must be that Blake that Wren asked about on the phone earlier. We will need to leave the area until he's gone so he doesn't sniff us out.'

Van - 'Alright, at least we know which way he will need to go to get to the pack lands when he leaves.'

We got in the car and drove out from the woods and on to the main road. We found a good place to park where we wouldn't be conspicuous and waited for the wolf to leave. While we waited in the dark confines of the Hummer we talked about some of the things we had learned and the amazing revelation that Wren was already falling for us. After ten minutes we sent her a text that we were home safely. It felt wrong to lie to our mate but we didn't want her to worry and we couldn't exactly let her know that we were waiting for the wolf boy to leave so we could watch over her as she slept. We all agreed that would sound extremely creepy to her at this moment. We were happy that she agreed to let us pick her up in the morning. The uncomfortable feeling from being away from our mate was growing stronger as the bond grew and as time and distance grew longer.

Van ran his fingers through his shoulder length hair in slight frustration, "I wish we hadn't been so wrapped up in her confession of love that we kept silent for so long. When I looked at her, after her phone rang, her colors showed that she was very nervous and frightened. I feel horrible, I can't even imagine the thoughts that were going through her mind during that."

"Yeah," Ian sighed. "It's probably f*cking confusing for her. To have such strong feelings for all three of us, and so quickly. Plus with what we know of her so far, it doesn't seem like she's had anyone caring about her in a long time."

"We will be changing that." Gray stated emphatically. "At the rate this is going I think we will be able to tell her about our world sooner than others who've had human mates. Then we can assure her that there is no changing our minds. That we won't ever leave her."

"F*ck yeah! The sooner we can tell her the better. My wolf is dying to claim her before one of the idiots around here actually grows a pair, and tries to get with our girl. I still can't believe these stupid, shit for brains in this town haven't even asked her out on a date. I mean, god, she's freakin' hot, and delicious."

"She certainly is. Gorgeous, smart, sweet and sexy. Perfect." Van agreed as he shifted in his seat trying to get comfortable. The ache to be closer to our mate was affecting us all. After a couple of hours in silence, while the three thought about Wren and all she'd been through, Ian leaned forward so that he was in-between the two front seats from the back, staring intently up ahead. "I think the wolf is finally on his way home, I'm pretty sure that I can smell him." He was correct. Soon after he said that they saw the headlight of a motorcycle speed past them and the scent of the male wolf went with it. As soon as his taillights disappeared from their rearview mirror they started the vehicle and drove back through the woods to their mate.

Soon they were at the woods edge, keeping out of sight should anyone look out the window from the house. Listening carefully Gray could tell that Wren was in her room deeply asleep. There were two heartbeats slowly beating in slumber on the far side of the house and the sound of music and a high female voice talking to someone. That voice, and the music, was coming from the basement. He could hear a faint response to the conversation letting him know that she was talking to her friend on the phone.

They quickly debated whether they should stay outside in the woods or chance going into her room. Finally the itch that had been growing under their skin from the lack of contact with their mate made the decision for them. Unable to stand the uncomfortable sensation, that seemed to grow more pronounced once they were close enough to smell and hear their mate, they silently went up to the roof and slide open the window to her room. The fact that her room was tiny was completely and totally proven when there was barely enough room for them to all three of them in there. They ended up sitting cross legged on the floor with their legs under the bed otherwise they wouldn't all fit. Gray sat at the head of the bed with his back against the closet door, gently running his fingers through her soft, silky hair. Van sat catty corner to Gray, on the long side of the bed near her head, holding on to her dainty hand, sometimes trailing his fingers down her arm while Ian sat beside him with his head resting on the bed and an arm laying against the length of leg poking out from under the sheets. He gently swirled his fingers against the smooth creamy thigh that was tempting him to taste the sweet smelling flesh. While they sat there, soaking up the addictive presence of their mate, they talked about what they did and did not find when they looked about the house.
