well
bye, love y'all. I mean it.

The bell rang, ending the first day of school.
I leaned back, sighing.
It was a pretty good first day, I thought.
I had started to pack up my bags when I saw Mitch running down the halls.

We hadn't talked after the lip-to-lip incident, and I decided to make things right.
I ran after him.

"Hey! Wait up!" I yelled.

Mitch heard me and turned around.
I caught his shirt collar to make sure he didn't run away. He stood still.

"Hey. I'm sorry about..what happened..you know." I mumbled.

"...No. I don't." He said. I stared at him.
He was smirking at me like I amused him.

"Y..you....talked!!" I said, dumbfounded.

He rolled his eyes. "Duh."

I could not believe it. I mean, I knew he would talk oneday, but when I actually heard him say stuff, I couln't believe it was really him talking.

"Anyway, what are you trying to say?" He said, pulling out of my grasp and folding his arms.
Oh
"You know.....The homeroom incident." I said slowly and he laughed. It was a beautiful sound.

"Actually, I don't have a clue. What did happen during homeroom? I'm sure nothing out of the ordinary happend!"
He was taunting me.

"Stop playing with me! You know very well what I'm talking about!!" I whined.

Mitch raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

I could not handle his sass anymore. My heart was beating fast for some reason, and my face flushed.
"...The kiss." I muttered.

Mitch's smirk grew. "Ohhhh. that." he unfolded his arms and pulled something out of his pocket. It was a box of mints.
He handed it to me and I just stared.

"You really need one of those. Your mouth reeked of meat." He said. Then he laughed.

I blushed and took a mint.
"So no hard feelings?" I asked.

"Nope."

I grinned and he started to walk away.

"See you tomorrow!" I yelled after him.

He turned around and held his hand up.
"Bye, Scott." he said, and jumped into a nearby parked car. He gave a kiss to the driver(A young man who I guess was his boyfriend), and they took off.

I stared after the car.
My heart was still beating.
"What just happened..? I mumbled.
Because I was sure something happened.
