Mitch's POV

I wasn't having the best of times.

Eric had run off to play drinking games and I couldn't find him anywhere.
I decided to find Scott. Even though I was pretty sure he must be in the same state as Eric, I thought....why not?

I left the counter, and was heading to the beer pong table when a big thug stood in front of me.

"Hey. What's your name?" He asked.

"Please..let me go." I said, ducking away. He blocked my way.

"I'm gonna buy you a drink. What's your poison?" He asked, grabbing my arm.
I backed away. "Please don't do this..."

He touched my face and I flinched.
He started to lean in, and I could't move. He had backed me into a corner.
I closed my eyes and prayed for a hero.
Who knew...

The thug suddenly fell over. I jumped back in surprise. A big blonde beautie stood there, holding a broken glass in one hand.
He grabbed my hand with the other and pulled me away.

"Scott.."

"Are you okay? I saw you and like, abandoned the table." He motioned to the beer pong table where a half a dozen men were screaming at him. He ignored them and turned to me.

"I'm okay."

"Do you want to go home?" He asked.

I blinked. "Yeah. But I don't have a car."

He smiled. "Ah. But I do." He said, pulling on my wrist. I stared at him.

"Wait what about you? You'll be late if you drive me home and back again."

His smile turned naughty. "I'm not coming back." He said and we walked out the door.

I sat next to him as he pulled his car out of the parking lot. His shirt was unbuttoned a lot and I had to blush and look away.
He caught my gaze and grinned.
"Sorry. Alex got a little naughty. Do you mind?"

I shook my head. "No. I'm fine."
Then I watched his red face. "You're drunk. You can't drive."

Scott leaned in and smiled in my face. "If you can keep on talking, then I can keep on driving."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."

As we got on the highway, he looked at me.
"So. You came to the party for your boyfriend and your abandoning him. Interesting."

I paled. I forgot all about him. I stared at Scott with a worried expression. He laughed.

"Don't worry. I'll call Alex. He's sober. He'll take care of your man."

I blinked. "Thank you."

"Don't thank me."

"No, really. Thank you."

He scratched his neck and faced me again.

"Listen. If you don't mind...Do you wanna sleep over at my house? You seem disturbed and I feel something might happen to you if I just leave you alone at your house."

I stared at him. That sounded wonderful.
But could I trust him? He just saved my life and all, but....

"I'm sorry Scott. I think I'd better go home."

He nodded slowly, but he kept his gaze on me.

As my house got closer, I really didn't want to go home. I grabbed my seatbelt and tried to control my thoughts.

I'll be okay.

I'll be fine.

"Here. This is your house, right?" Scott asked as he pulled over infront of my house.

I stared at my front door in distaste.
I slowly got up and slowly stood out.
Scott didn't move.
I really didn't want to go in that door.
But I couldn't be alone with a boy in a strange house, either.

"Mitch!"

I turned.

"If it's the house that's bothering you....
Can I stay?"

I stared at him. Then I nodded slowly.

"Yes. Please...."

He got out of his car and walked over to me.
I opened my door and we walked in.

Scott's POV

I sat on the couch with Mitch by my side.
He had made popcorn, and I turned on his TV.
"Can we watch Spongebob?" I asked.
I love Spongebob Squarepants.
He nodded, his eyes huge.

We watched Spongbob together, and somehow we got to the point of sharing a blanket.
I was so close to him, I could hear his breathing. I could feel his heartbeat on my arm. I turned my head and looked at him. I didn't expect to see what I saw.

Mitch was beautiful.
Extraordinarily beautiful.
His lips curled up as he laughed and I had to struggle back the urge to kiss them.

He was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Even though I saw him everyday at school, today was different.

My hand moved without thinking. It brushed by Mitch's cheek and he flinched. He turned and stared at me. "Scott What are you doing?"

I brushed his bangs out of his eyes.
Mitch blushed and looked away, sharpish.
My fist clenched, trying to hold back the urge to slam my lips on his.

Remember what I said to Kirstie!
I'm not cheating on Alex and I never will.
Remeber what I said to Kirstie.
Remeber what I said to Kirstie.

Mitch's beautiful brown eyes blinked.
"Scott?" Oh his voice sent chills down my spine.
I bit my lip. I couldn't believe it.
I was in love with this guy.
I tried not to show.

"Uhm.." I mumbled as I pulled away. "I just thought..You looked a little stuffy with the bangs and...."

He raised an eyebrow. "I look.....stuffy?"

Great
You offended him
Nice going Scott.

"No, you look great. Nothing. Forget what I said." Mitch nodded and we, or should I say, he, focused on the movie again.

Mitch's POV

I thought he was going to kiss me.
He didn't.
So why was I disapointed?
(Ha Not Anymore reference whhaat pffffttt)

Scott's POV

The movie ended and we were in awkward silence. Mitch ended it.

"So let's go to sleep. Do you prefer my bed or the couch?"

In your bed, with you!!!
