When I got home it was de ja vu. Serena and Eric were crying, but dad was no where to be found. "Where's dad I said walking into the kitchen?"
"He's joined mom," Serena wailed.
"What? he's gone too?"
"Yeah, it's like mom all over again," Eric said through sobs.
"What happened?"
"Same as mom. He got in a car accident. The same model of car hit him, too." Kevin told me.
"OMG, do you think it was the same person?"
"It was probably some drunk person," Serena concluded.
When I got to school the next day there was another note card in my locker. It said, Wow. I can't believe you told your friends. It was your dad this time. It might be you next.
I immediately showed the girls.
"I think someone wants to hurt you," Pen said.
"Hey! I have and idea. Katy has always like Max hasn't she?" Kate asked.
"Yeah, but me and Max aren't really dating yet. We just have a thi- Speak of the devil," I said as Max jogged up to the group.
"Hey, beautiful," he said turning to me.
"Hi, Max."
"I was wondering if you wanted to go on our first official date on Friday."
"Yeah, sure I'd love to," I replied keeping my cool.
