"Bye John, I'm off to commute home."
No! Stay with me! I'll commute with you if I have to!
"Um, we live somewhat near each other right? Maybe we can commute together."
"Well sure Joh-"
*ZAAAAPPPPP*
The rain started pouring in really fast. The wind was strong enough to actually move Harvey's pointy stiff hair. A sudden storm came along and we didn't know about it.
Oh no. Oh no. This is bad, very bad. I have no way of getting home now that it's raining.
I'm mortally afraid of storms like these.
"Oh no. I lent my umbrella to my sister. Now I guess we'll have to wait a little longer so we can get home John." Harvey said with a frown.
"O-o-ok" I said meekly. The fear is obvious in the tone of my voice.
I can't let him see me like this.
"John? Are you ok? You sound so shaky." He knelt beside me, with a really worried expression on his face.
*ZAAAPPPPPP*
I throw myself into his arms. I start crying really bad. He embraces me and rubs my back with his hand in a circular motion.
"I'm sc-scared of sto-storms."
"It's okay. It won't harm you, not as long as I am here."
And we just stayed there for a good 20 minutes or so, with me still crying like a terrified kid. I could actually hear his heartbeat, which made a calming beat. His scent is pleasantly strong, not like those super strong ones that makes your head hurt. This lead me to drifting away into a peaceful sleep during a chaotic storm.

~*Harvey's POV*~
John's so cute when he's asleep... I could just stare at his adorable face all day. I'm just so happy the love of my life is here, asleep in my arms.
I just leave one hand to continue patting his back, while I open my phone.
-1 missed call. 1 message-
Both from Mom. Oh no.
"Harvey, according to the news, the storm is one of the strongest ones this decade. Just stay safe and don't try to get out, we wouldn't want you to get sick or anything. You have your emergency bag don't you? The one with food, water and clothes?"
I just replied a simple "Yes" and focus on trying to make John and my unplanned stay in our classroom as comfy as possible. I carry John off me and place his head gently on my bag full of clothes.
Now I am free to go barricade windows, check for flood, make a safe path towards other places such as bathrooms, look for a sleeping place in the second floor so we wouldn't drown in our sleep, and so much more.
What a depressing early evening.

~*John's POV*~
I awoke to the sound of thunder.
*ZAAAPPPPPP*
"AH!" Just then I noticed the absence of Harvey's comforting words. I looked around the room frantically, but he was no where in sight.
"H-Harvey?" I asked, hoping to hear his voice. No answer.
I started to panic, and I thought;
What if he left me here?
No! Harvey isn't that type of person!
Then I noticed the bag I had been lying on. It was Harvey's bag if I'm not mistaken, but why was it so soft even though it was filled with books?
I considered opening the bag, but I probably shouldn't go through his belongings.
Right now I had to find Harvey.
I quickly stood up from the floor, my legs a bit numb from the nap. All I could hope for was that he wasn't far away. I didn't want to roam around an empty school all alone while it's stormy outside.
Approaching the classroom door, I slid it open, happy to see Harvey.
"HARVEY!" I yelled in glee and hugged him out of reflex.
"Whoa, seems that you woke up." he stated, and hugged me back.
I could feel his warmth on my back, and once again, it made me feel comfortable, not wanting to ever let go.
After several moments, I realized it was getting a bit awkward so I let go.
"Where were you?" I asked.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to leave you." A smile was slowly forming on my face. "I was checking around the school, to see if it was flooded."
"You mean we can't leave?"
"Yeah, my mom told me that this is one of the strongest storms in the decade. And it'd be dangerous to leave. Best choice is to stay here for the night." he explained it like the responsible person he was. How admirable.
Then I realized I had to contact my parents as well. I rummaged through my pockets until I found my cellular phone.
"Oh no.." I let out as I stared at the blank screen.
"What's wrong?" Harvey asked.
"My phone's dead. Great." I said while still pressing the power button. Of all times, it had to die now. It seemed like that cliche moment when you're trapped in a haunted house, and it's either there's no reception or your phone is dead.
"Mom and Dad are gonna kill me." I slumped into an armchair.
"Luckily, I have some things to survive the night." Harvey said while opening his backpack, taking out some crackers and two bottles of water.
"It's as if you predicted this was going to happen." I was impressed by all of the preparations. By the looks of it, the other small bag seems to be a sleeping bag.
"Nah, I just have a paranoid mom."
"Oh... Hahaha.
"So, wanna eat? The thing is though, I only have one pair of utensils. Is that fine with you?"
As long as I'm sharing it with you.
"Yeah, it's okay."
"Okay, I'll go open it now." Harvey said while opening the can with a can opener from a large swiss knife. awesome.
"Say "ah"" Harvey said, putting his spoon in front of me, with food on it.
Flattering as it is, I could take care of myself! He doesn't need to spoon feed me like a little kid...
"Harvey, I could feed myself you know." Which I said in a soft tone, to prevent him from thinking I'm mad at him.
"Um... Your hands are really shivering." He said looking at my hands with concern.
"What?!?!" I can't feel it shiver... I start clenching my hands repeatedly to let blood warm them.
"I thought you knew awhile ago... Sorry. Now can I feed you?"
"Sure" I said, and he started feeding me.
The tuna was really good, despite being canned food. He also starts eating for himself, but not forgetting to feed me. He gently feeds me, not hastily or carelessly. I find it so... sweet.
Gladly, the lighting system of this room isn't that bright so he wouldn't see me blush. Also because I am also afraid of the da-
*Pop*
And the only light bulb we have in this room naturally broke just when I was thinking and hoping it wouldn't. Classic. And now begins paranoia.
