Well, here comes Mark holding a... bag. Wow. How convenient, except for the fact that it IS Mark.
I feel a tug at my sleeve.
"H-Harvey.." John starts to motion over to Mark. "It's too dangerous to carry that out in the open.."
"But John-!" I whispered, "This is MARK we're talking about here!"
"But my reputation.. YOUR reputation! I can't let you go tarnished, Harvey!"
"Possessing you is far more important!"
John blushes at the statement, quickly trying to come up with something. Looking down, he shyly speaks up;
"Y-you don't have to worry about that at all.. I'm already yours." he starts looking away.
D'aww.
"Well, alright then. I'll be the one to ask him though." I said as I swiftly nudge Mark as he passed us in the hallway.
"Wh-what in the-- Oh. It's you guys." He says nonchalantly, a bit unexpected. Once he glanced at John, his face became devoid of emotion, not like the usual licentious personality he had.
"Help us hide this book! Please!" I half-begged.
"Why are you so worked over a book-- wait, "Homosexuality"? I know about being bent but.. seriously?"
"We're bi, alright? No time to explain! JUST LET US SHOVE THIS IN YOUR BAG!" I exclaimed, grabbing his schoolbag, glad to see that there was space left, quickly shoving the suspicious book.
"Thanks, Mark." John said politely.
"Yeah, sure."
Is it just me or is Mark.. a little less of a boyfriend-stealer now?
Well, not like I'd complain.
The three of us shuffled past the other students until we reached the classroom. I walked to my seat to grab my backpack, and brought both Mark and John to the back of the school building.
"Here is your book." Mark handed it over.
"Thanks a bunch." I said, truly grateful.
I planned on discussing about sexual orientation together with John, and to further understand our unusual relationship.
"We need to talk, John."
"Ah, okay."
We both sat against the wall, and I remembered the moment I... um.. yeah.. with John.
Flipping to the introduction page, I shared the book with him.
"What is it about me that you really liked anyway, Ha--"
"Well, obviously it's the childish appearance." Mark interrupted.
I immediately jumped at his presence.
"Mark!? I thought you left earli--!"
"I helped in protecting that book. I deserve to at least know what it's all about." Mark interrupted again.
