I look at the paper handed to me like as if it had a disease. I scanned the three equations, they seem like they actually make sense, but I actually have to look for so much variables!?!? Ugh, I'd rather be looking for ways to Harvey's heart.
Carrying on, I eventually got to find a solution to the first two questions, but the last one was just. wow. I have to solve for variables J, D and A.
Wait. WHAT?
JDA are my initials! John D. Agate!
I rub my eyes and blink twice. Yep, it was J, D and A alright, no doubt about it.
What could it mean? Is it coincidental? Is it on purpose? But for what reason? I start over thinking about it.
Maybe it's because he likes me ba-
"It's time John, let me check your answers."
Once again, Harvey butts in during the happiest parts of my thinking process. Shucks. I give my paper to him, and after a few seconds, he returns it saying;
"Well, you got the first two questions right, even if you've been doing nothing but stare at my lips for thirty minutes. Here, let me help you solve the last question."
Embarrassed that I didn't get all the questions, I just nodded and watched him solve it... After several obvious steps that I didn't do, I mentally curse myself for my carelessness. "So, the solution to the variables J, D and A are 1, 4 and 3."
What? 143? As in the shortcut to "I Love You"? This is not making any sense!
Nothing I can do with that... It was probably coincidental...
"Oh okay, I get it now, Harvey."
"Good. Now we can get to Chemistry."
"What exactly in chemistry?"
"Quantum numbers of Elements."
That sounds weird. Well, anyway, all that math made me thristy... What plan can I make out this?
Oh! Perfect. Hehehe.
"Harvey, mind if I go buy a refreshment at the canteen? I feel needy for a cool snack."
"Well sure, just don't leave me here all alone! Hahaha."
I would never do that to you.
Harvey gave me five minutes to buy a snack, so good luck to my plan!

~~*Harvey's POV*~~
I watched him leave the room, looked at him go 'round the corner, anddd he's gone from my sight. I took a deep breath and sighed. I wonder if he understood the variables message I sent him in his "test". I wonder if he would've freaked out if I actually kissed him then and there. I wonder if he loves me like I love him.
I saw John come back eating a vanilla popsicle. I groaned inwardly.
Good graces, out of all the snacks, he just had to get a vanilla popsicle.
John sat back on his chair beside me and wow. He was noisily sucking on the popsicle. It was so interesting to watch. so... hot.
So I just waited for him to finish his popsicle before I carried on to chemistry, cause it's hard to teach a guy eating something.
Especially eating something that could make your mind think dirty.
I stole a peek at him eating his ice cream, and oh my gosh. Instead of biting it bit by bit, His tongue was just hanging out, with his hand rotating the popsicle he eve- Shit. He saw me watching him.
He's just staring back at me, with a popsicle in his mouth. His stare is so cute, befitting someone nicknamed "Hamster". But all the slurping sounds and the ice cream is making it all awkward. I uneasily break the stare.
"Well John, the first part of quantum numbers are easy, so I guess I could start teaching, seeing that your popsicle is nearly finished. Is that fine with you?" John replied with a quick nod, his head bring the popsicle along with it. Several drops of melted ice cream dripped on his arm, which he looked at and started licking it off slowly.
Shit. Look away Harvey, look away.
Even if I looked away, my head has a mental image of it, which I'll probably remember for a long time. Carrying on to the discussion...
"So John, quantum numbers are four combinations of numbers that scientists use to describe an element's electrons. The four are respectively named Principal, Orbital, Magnetic, and Spin Quantum numbers."
Thankfully, John's ice cream is finished, and good bye awkwardness! All throughout the time I was explaining the mechanics and how to get each quantum number, John was asking questions and trying it out for himself, which is a good sign.
After ten or so minutes, I asked John to write the quantum numbers of any four elements, and I will find the elements he said. If my elements don't match with his, then his numbers are wrong.
"Well, the numbers are:
1) 1,1,0,1/2
2) 3,2,1,-1/2
3) 4,3,0,1/2
4) 5,1,0,-1/2"
So, I just mentally analyzed it, and I got... Hydrogen, Argon, Vanadium and Yttrium.
What. The atomic symbols spell out H Ar V Y.
Does that mean he likes me back? Oh my gosh.
"So, are your elements Hydrogen, Argon, Vanadium and Yttrium?"
"Yeah! Those are my favorite elements!"
Good Lord, what does this mean?!?! His favorite elements spell out Harvey?!?!
Could it be, a reply to my subtle signs? This is too good to be true!
I face him trying to hide all shock and happiness within. He just looked at me with those large, brown eyes of his.
"I guess this means I got it right, right!?" he asked childishly while tilting his head to the left.
Oh damn, cuteness overload.
How is he just so adorable? Can't he be like a normal guy? If he keeps turning me on like this...
I'd reach my limit and lose it.
"Yep, you got it right!" I replied enthusiastically and successfully hid all my present emotions. John laughed, and I did too.
I'm so glad John slept through subjects.
I'd be willing to teach him any subject. I loved the way he never failed to make me smile, and I loved the way he could be so childish and gullible.
Only thing left to think about was whether or not he likes me back.
John always had this feminine side of him but I doubt he even notices. I guess that's what made him popular with so many girls in our class, and I bet he thinks they are serious about him.
Well, think again John, because the only one serious about you, is me.
Though I can't help but be overly jealous whenever I see him around with a girl, or even with another guy. I hate admitting this, but even if John were a real girl, I'd most likely be friendzoned.
Just like with every other girl I've chased after.
"I'm guessing you want a reward for your good work?" I asked flirtatiously.
"What kind of reward..?" he asked back, a hint of fright present in his innocent voice. And this might sound sadistic, but it made me want to tackle him right there.
"The reward you've been expecting since the beginning of this lecture." I replied and grabbed his shoulders, not losing my grip.
