R I L E Y
Today was crazy. Of course, over the months of being friends, I had gotten to known Lucas. So when he came up to my door, clammy and nervous, I knew something was up. I tried so hard to strike up conversations with him, but somehow he was caught up in his own thing. We finally got to school after what felt like hours of silence. After we finished American history, I waited at the door for Lucas. He looked really good today. As we walked down the hall, so many guys talked to me.
interesting
Before I knew it Lucas had asked me out.
What? Huh? WHAT? CRAP. WHAT AM I GONNA SAY?
I opened my mouth to say something, but the class bell rang.
THANK GOD. SAVED BY THE BELL.
I ran off to my class after kissing Lucas's cheek. He was just standing there, helplessly. As I walked to class, I noticed that some guy was following me. I kept looking back at him, and he kept smiling at me. After a few seconds, I felt someone grab my butt. I squealed.
"Hey there, hottie. How you doing?" he smirked.
He pushed me against the locker, breathing down on my neck.
HELP! LUCAS! SOMEONE!
Something bad was gonna happen. I felt it in my veins. No one was here to save me. No one cared. He suddenly put his hands on my waist. I could feel his paws pulling my shirt up. I tried to push him away, but I was powerless. He was gonna do something that I'd never forget... or so I thought. Some blond girl grabbed his ear and in a second, somehow got him lying on the ground.
"oh thank God. You're my angel." I said.
"Haha, no problem. I'm Maya. I just hate it when those idiots do that."
She seemed so cool. So down to earth. From that moment on, I had a best friend. I told her all about me and Lucas. I asked her what she thought I should do. It was now lunch. Time to face the music. I was ready. I knew what I was gonna say.
