Prince Charming in Disguise

- "Yes. Although, are you sure? I live really close by." You replied to his offer gratefully.

- "Well... yes, I am sure... I ask you because you almost hurt yourself. You know it is dangerous around night." Mikey had responded. He started making it back to where you were standing.

- "Well, I must say, its even kind for you to ask." You finally said.

- "Well it is very rare that even people say thank you." Mikey said.

- "Well, sometimes there just too many reasons why people don't say thank you. They are just too consumed within the moment that they'll forget." you explained.

He finally got to the platform that you were on.

- He then said, "let's go."

The two of you made your way to the bottom of the stairway, on the ground. You two were walking towards the exit of the alleyway, then you managed to ask him,

- "Do I really look pretty? I mean not in the sense that you just said that, but like, how can you see me? How do you know if I really am?" You began to speak quickly, "I don't mean in a weird way, it's just night, it an alley way..." your words made you realize what you were doing. You turned around to look at the alley once again.

- "I actually meant what I said," Mikey responded. "but this is as far I can go..." his footsteps stopped before the light of a light post.

- "Why's that?" You questioned.

- "I have reasons." Mikey stated.

- "You know, I won't really care. Do you have any allergies to light?" You said teasingly.

- "That's what you say, and no, I have no allergies from light."

You really didn't care. You pulled one of his arms and shinned into the light. You looked at it strangely and then examined it, all while holding his arm firmly with two hands. His skin felt smooth and saw that he had a three fingered hand.

- "Talk about a green hand. What are you, a mutant?" you teasingly asked.

- "That's exactly what I am." He said with amazement and slowly came into the light, first it was his leg, then he stopped, "Do you want me to continue moving into the light?"

- "Before you do, what are you exactly?" You felt a tinge on your back when you asked.

- "A teenage mutant ninja turtle." He stated calmly.

You opened you eyes in amazement, as if you might have heard of that somewhere, but alas, you couldn't remember. You gulped. You told him to give you his other hand. He did so. You were now holding both of his hands. You slowly walked back, dragging him into the light. Before the light hit his face, you asked.

- "I am a little bit scared," you said, "but I really don't want to be afraid of you. I am sorry if I am making you do this. I actually happen to get scared easily." You look down.

- "Can we be friends?" He asked. You look up. "I really don't want you to be scared... but to tell you the truth, I am more scared," he continues, "I am scared about thinking that I have a new friend, but then we are not friends anymore because how I look."

- You stood there dazed at what he said, "I'll be your friend," you stated, "but under one condition."

- "What is that?" Mikey asked

- "If I am scared of you after today, don't give up, keep meeting me, to the point were I have to get used to you and eventually like you as a friend." you said. "I will even keep that as a promise."

- "Okay! Yay I get a new friend!" He said loudly. "Y/n I won't let you down."

You smiled patiently and kindly.

Mikey was so happy, he saw you smiling. He thought to himself, oh my gosh, she smiling, soooo cute, funny, like me, Mikey the cute one!!!!! [Note: I am fangirling right now.]

You continued, dragging him into the light. You began to close your eyes, because seriously you were scared. Mikey began to sense that you were trembling, he began to realize that you really meant what you said, he believed in your words. He then stopped moving, then said,

- "I am already in the light, with you." He finally said.

You took one deep long heavy breathe. [Noted: like the one from chihayafuru... that was a beautiful anime... me. recommend... it's beautiful.]

You slowly, very slowly opened your eyes, and took your hands from Mikey's hands and brought them to your cheeks.
