"So that eyepatch of yours can help you see things faster?" I asked Zan as we all ran. The scorpion and bird was still following us. "Yes but it's up to me how to deal with that knowledge. That's where my semblance comes in." his voice was muffled by his mask so it gave it a more of a deep voice. "Well then what's your semblance?" Nat said. There was something about Nat that I didn't like, just like with every other guy. "Speed. I can use the info and help out anyway I can. But there's a limit to how much I can run. And when I'm done I go back to regular speed." Hmm explains why he's at our pace right now. "But why wear cleats? Why not regular running shoes?" Ashton said "Agreed." I said. It was to fast to follow but all I saw was Zan running in front of me then to my far left and kicked a tree in half then back in front of me. "Cleats have metal spikes. Running shoes don't." "That's useful." Emma said. I don't know why but something about her. Something cute. "There!" Takeda yelled. The cliff was in view, the only problem is that we're down here and it's ALL the way up there. We stopped at a bridge that was in pieces. Only pillers that held small pieces of what's left stood above an abyss covered with a deep white fog, so it was hard to tell how deep it was. The scorpion got closer and it's stinger struck at us. Before it did Ashton said. "Scatter!" I jumped back and landed on a piece of the bridge. Takeda landed next to me. Gracie and Olivia were on another piece of the bridge to our left. Ashton, Emma, Nat, and Zan we on the other side now behind the scorpion trying to fend it off. "We gotta help them." a loud squeak went up in the air. Takeda grabbed my arm. "We gotta get rid of that bird first." I shake my arm free. "Fine." we all climbed the larger pillers to better reach the bird. We each shot at the bird. Me with my sniper murasama. Takeda with his shot guns. Gracie shot her crossbow with explosive tip and electro shock arrows. And Olivia's cypher turned into a submachine gun. Our shoots barely harmed it. Then Takeda got his bo staff and jumped off the tower. He shot his staff down a shot up so high and landed on the birds back. He stabbed it in the eye and it went crazy flying around. I don't know how he's holding on. "They need help." Gracie pointed at the ground. Our friends we getting knocked back by the scorpion. "You two go, I'll stay and back up Takeda." Olivia ordered. She continued to shoot the bird. I was about to jump off when Gracie grabbed my hand. I looked at her and she had her eyes closed. Next thing I knew I was on the ground a few feet away from the battle. "Teleportation?" I asked. Gracie nodded. "Teleportation." we ran in towards the back of the scorpion. It's tail swung at us. Gracie rolled under it and I jumped over it. I flipped in the air and pointed the butt of my sword at the ground. I shot at it and went over the scorpion. I took out my murasama and landed on its face with half the blade stabbed right between its eyes. I pulled in the string and the chainsaw sprayed blood everywhere. "Watch out!" a voice screamed in my head. Next thing I knew I was tackled to my left. Where I was, was the scorpion's stinger was dug in the ground. And on top of me.... "You ok?" Emma was on top of me. My face was burning now. She's so cute. She gently slapped me on my cheek and smiled. "Shut up." she got off me. We rejoined the group of now me, Gracie, Emma and Nat. The scorpion still had my sword on its face running around knocking into trees. Gracie stepped up. "I got an idea."

"Got it?" we all nodded. "Good Now come on." we all ran towards it. This plan is crazy, but I like it. Me and Gracie ran up the middle while Emma curved off to the right while Nat curved to the left. The scorpion slammed it's claws on the ground. Both back stepped and jumped up. In one of their hands they had a arrow. They threw it at its claw and the arrow turned into a net and it trapped the scorpion's claws down. Meanwhile Graice brought out her crossbow. The stinger was about to hit us but Gracie shot an explosive arrow and knocked the stinger back in the air. "Now!" Gracie yelled. Nat grabbed his spear and it turned into a axe. He chucked it at its tail and it cut it clean off. Like a boomarang it came back. I don't know how but this plan is working. Then Emma ran up behind the scorpion, grabbed it's stinger and stuck in on what's left of the tail, pinning it to the ground. Once it was secure Gracie shot an arrow in the air then grabbed my hand. Now we were in the air. Like really high up near the clouds. We were upside down now if I'm not mistaken. The arrow she shot flew between us and exploded. It shoot us straight down. Gracie teleported away and I was alone. Falling. Fast. Really fast. This can end in two ways. Very painful for me or for the scorpion. But according to my grandma, today is not my day. I remembered the talk I had with my grandma. Before she past away. Hmm it's gonna happen I know for sure. My grandma's semblance was prophecy. She can see into the future but only important things. All the time she was right. Like when my boyfriend dumped me or when I brok my arm. And it's best not to resist it. As I grow closer to the ground I steadied myself. The scorpion was still pinned down. I came down hard with my fist on the hilt of my sword. The swords whole blade went deep in its skull. The chainsaw grinded its brain out. And just like that it's stopped moving. I pulled the blade out and cleaned the blood off. "Well that hurt." I said shacking my hand. It was all red. "Does it hurt? You need help?" Nat walked over to me and grabbed my hand. I pulled away. "I'm fine, just need some ice." at that moment my hand was encased in ice. "Whoa! What was that?!" I looked at Gracie think it was one of her truck arrows. "Wasn't me." she said. I have Nat the evil eye. "Nope not this guy." he said. "Maybe it was Takeda, he has ice bullets." Gracie said. "Emma can you ask him." I asked her. She had her eyes closed trying to concentrate. "Sorry I can't reach him. I'm being blocked somehow." "Has that every happened before?" Nat asked. "Hang on." "Not right now Emma!" it was Ashton. "What's going on, where's Takeda?." I demanded. "He's here, He's ..." The connection got cut off. And at that moment a loud cry went out. It was from all the way up to where they were. Emma started to panic. She curled up into a ball on the ground. She didn't tell us anything. She just laid there frozen. I tried shacking her. "Emma? Emma!? You ok?" I yelled. Nothing. "Gracie, you and Nat go help them I'll stay here with Emma." I said. "I.... Can't." Graice barley let that out before she fell to the floor. Nat caught her before she hit dirt. She looked tired. "Telaporting too far..... Puts a strain on my body." "Can you stand?" Nat said. "Yea..." she tried to walk but was limping. "...Maybe a lil help." I smashed my hand on the ground and broke the ice. My hand was fine now, no more pain. I picked up Emma and carried her bridal style while Nat helped Gracie walk straight. "Guess we're taking the long way up." Nat said. "Guess so."
