I sighed loudly on my bed. The day after the night out and I still have a hang off. My head was killin me. I got up from my bed and walked towards the door. "Where you going?" Tessa said. She was reading a book in her pj's on her bed. Pretty much the girls were on their beds writing or drawing in their pj's. I however was in my orginal clothes. "Out. I need some fresh air." "Its 8 at night, you sure?" Emma told me. "Yea I'll be back later." "You got your scroll with you?" I pulled out a lil white pad with a yellow diamond in the middle and showed it to Gracie. "Yea right here. Later." I walked out.

I walked outside in the woods. It was late at night and the only light there was as the moon light. I walked along the shadows think to myself. Like Tessa for instance. She's giving me a hard time when I try to get to know her and I know she may not like when I flirt with her and the rest of the girls, but it's just for fun. For laughs, but she, I guess has no sense of humor. At school she ignores me and at the party. Actually the only guy she's cool with is Ashton. Mainly I think is cuz she hangs with with Emma and she's with Ashton. Now that I think maybe.... "Squak!!!" "Aww come on. I'm trying to clear my head here." I said, but I don't the Griffin cares what I'm doing or how I'm feeling, and neither do his friends. Three Griffins vs me. "Sigh, ok then." I grabed my axe I had strapped to my back. The one in the middle flow at me. It had its talons out ready to claw me to pieces. I dropped back and fell on my back making the talons barely stratching me. I kicked it in its gut. It fell to the ground. I popped up in the air, spun around and threw my axe at it. It cut off one of it wings. I landed on my feet and ran up to it. Even thou it was injured it was persistent and ran back at me. Before we we collided my axe came back in a spear and went through the back of its head and out it's mouth. I grabbed my spear and it's head and chopped of its head. It threw the head at one of other griffins who were standing there like idiots. It fell down knocked out. "Heh that's what you get." I said. The still conscious one flew at me same as the other one. Dumb more but I'll play along. I ducked under its talons jumped up and kicked it in the butt. Just for fun. I spun around and flapped its wings at me and shot sharp feathers at me. A lil to many for my taste. No problem. I raised my hand and my shadow rose from the ground. It was basically me but all black with a black spear just like me. My shadow helped me bounce and block the feathers away. The Griffin flew to the sky for an advantage. I looked at my shadow and it nodded at me. I gave me it's spear and dissolved back into a regular shadow. I grabbed both spears pointed the butt of it at the ground, jumped up and shot at the ground for more boost. Soon enough I got up to the griffin. I swung its right wing at me. I lend back dodging it. I threw the shadow spear at the griffin's wing. I dissolved but the Griffin fell faster to ground than me. I shot at the sky and used that plus gravity to fall faster. I impaled my spear in its stomach. It screamed in agony. Inside its guts my spear turned into axe cutting it clean in half. The other Griffin finally got up and ran at me. "Shut up." I let up. I threw my axe at it. It cut its head off easily. I jumped up grabbed the head brought it down back to earth and smashed it on the ground. "Well the cleared my head." I said as I waved the blood off my gloves. I recover my axe and just sat down on a base of a random tree. I sighed caughting my breath. I know it's still early but I felt so sleepy. So I feel asleep.

I woke up the next morning with grass on my face. I brushed it off and checked my watch. "Craaaaaap." I got up and ran for first period. I ran in almost missed the bell. And I sat next to Tessa. While Professor Port was telling a speech about his youth Tessa held a book up to cover her mouth in case he was checking. She whispered to me. "Where the hell were you last night?" "Late night." "We were worried sick." "Oh now you care about me." "What's that suppose to mean." "Ahem!" I looked up and Port was looking at us. "As I was saying..." he continued his speech. "It means ever since we meet you've been giving me the cold shoulder." "So?" "So I thought you didn't care what I do or where I go." "Your my teammate. I may not agree with what you do but we're a team. So come back ok." I look down at my paper thinking it over. "Ok I will."

I sigh to myself as I look up at the sky. Full moon tonight and the night breeze feels so good. I lay on a branch on a tree high above ground. I know I told Tessa I'd be back before school starts at the least, but probably not. I begin to nod of to sleep. BANG! I wake up with a start. Inches by my face there's a bullet hole on the tree. "Like hell your going to sleep!" I hear Tessa yell from ground level. I jump down in front of her. "What the hell was that for?!" I yell back at her. She grab the hilt of her murasama and hit me in the gut with it. It hurt but thanks to my aura it didn't hurt as much. "You were gonna go sleep and miss class. You said you'd be back soon before you left." she pushed me back. "Why the hell do you care? Huh? Ever since we meet you've be a pain. Now you care. Why?" I shout a few feet away. "Because your my teammate! Ok!" I turn my back to her and walk away. "Whatever." I said angrily. "Behind you!" My shadow said to me. Yes my shadow. Anyway I turn around, saw Tessa coming at me, her hand at her hilt so I lend back just in time to avoid get my neck slid open. She grabed her murasama with both hands and brought her blade down on me. I grabbed my axe and held it up and blocked the attack. She pulled the string and the blade turned into a chainsaw and she tried to cut through my weapon. She can try but just in case I used my shadow to pull hers back. By doing so she flew back. She ran at me screaming. I held up her hand and held her back. Well technically I was holding her shadow in place. "Just stop, I don't wanna hurt you." she was able to shoot at me with her murasama. I used my shadow to come alive and it blocked the shoots with its weapon. She soon stopped shooting and just focused on moving forward. "Will you just stop this already?" I let go of her shadow and she stumbled forward unprepared. I grabbed her and pinned her to the ground. She struggled to get up but I held her down. "Now stop." she kneed my in the crouch. My aura protected some of the pain but it still hurt like hell. She turned us over and now she had me pinned. "Come. Back. Now." She said with some tires in her eyes. Her voice was shaky. "Why? Why do you care about me so much now?" and with that she kissed me. Right on my lips. I looked up at her. "Wha...... What?" I said calmly trying not to freak out. She got off me and sat next to a tree. I got up and sat next to her. She rested her head on my shoulder. "Am I forgiven?" I asked softly. "I'll let it slide just this once." I let out a sigh of relief. I felt so tired and I guess Tessa was to cuz she was nodding of lil by lil. "Sooo does this mean we're..." She elbowed my ribs. "Don't push it dumb ass."

And with that this chapter is done. Sorry it took awhile I've been doing other stuff like new books not yet publish and school. Um anyway this is the last filler chapter and I will go on with the story line. There will be other fill chapters so don't worry. So yea hope you enjoyed and I'll see y'all later. Btw Nat and Tessa no couple sorry if you want but no.
