"I'll be right back, don't move from your seats"

The old English teacher grunts, getting up from his chair, adjusting his tie in  process. Seeing an opportunity I remove my DS from its case and place it securely into my lap, shoving my glasses onto my face. My pudgy thumbs tap against the screen in determination to win the race in Mario kart 8. "Naughty" tuts a raspy voice, the hand that belongs to it flicking the console out of my grasp. Angrily I sigh picking it from the ground, my muttering comes to a stop as I meet eyes with the irritating video game abuser. He sits cross legged on the desk opposite my own, leather jacket hanging off the side of the wooden table. "Subtle?" I look down at the device, checking for any damage. "Obviously not" he chuckles. "See, that'll teach you" hopping from the table to the chair next to mine he smirks. "Excuse me?" I raise my brow, scuttling away  from the bulky figure leaning into me and adjusting the frames of my glasses yet again. "Not to text in class, silly" he says as a matter of factly. I roll my eyes. Before I can correct him and do it myself he's pushing the glasses further up my nose. "Wear these more often" he giggles before getting up from the plastic seat. "Daniel, did you misunderstand when I told you not to move?" echoes am angry voice from the door frame. "Not at all sir" Daniel looks at my expression, my eyes begging him not to rat me out, I'd prefer to not make detention a reoccurring thing. "I was just telling Mr Lester how nice he looked in those spectacles of his." I try to stop myself from gasping, refusing to give into a person like him and the reaction he was after. "Right" mr. Beu coughs, taking his place at the front of the room. I turn my head to Dan and glare, but he's already looking in my direction adjusting his fringe. He winks, dimples appearing on his round face. I won't fall for it, not me.
