"Phiiiiill" a raspy voice calls from the front room. I arise from my bright covers reluctantly, headphones dragging across the carpet behind me. "What's up?" I ask the figure in the computer chair, their head bopping up and down above the dark leather. "We have a situation" Dan spins around; "We?" I reply. "We" he confirms, laptop balancing on his skinny jeans. "I don't have any videos planned, and Twitter aren't being patient" he continues, "I need your creative juices to come up with a cheeky quick collab" Dan cuts to the chase, heading bare foot to the kitchen. "Cereal?" he calls, poking his head back around the door with a pleading grin. so that's the catch. "Hm" chomping on shreddies thoughtfully, I suggest truth or dare. "Great" Dan answers, carrying a coffee into the room, "this is yours by the way, i know I'm a babe you don't have to tell me. Let me start setting up!" He gestures towards the office. "Thanks Phil for the idea, I knew I could count on you, buddy!" I mock, voice high and articulate. He rolls his eyes as I giggle, continuing his journey to search for the camera and tripod. "Hello Internet" I recognise, waiting  to step into view. "Due to my lack of creativity and/or laziness, I asked you all for truths and dares on Twitter, and who better to answer them with than Philly over here" I grin, poking my body in front of the lens. "Hello, what a surprise" I introduce myself sarcastically.
"I know right so married who would've guessed." Dan laughs, shaking his head at me. I blush at his comment, aware that it would satisfy the shippers. After several dares, including eating toothpaste, and truths like reliving the horror that was my first girlfriend, the camera flashes red. "Oh man lets rap this up" Dan suggests, reading a final tweet from the screen. I sit patiently, playing with the checkered pillow. He snorts. "Kiss!" Demands @tilly1232, Tilly you sadist, let's end it there." He remarks, slapping his thighs. "I mean" I interrupt without a thought. "Give the people what they want" "Oh ha ha, lean in Philip" Dan replies, I trust myself to stop so he could think of something witty to hide our untouched lips in the video, but I don't, I don't deny myself what I crave from my best friend. The label echoes as he leans away, maybe in shock. Best friend. Your best friend, who doesn't want this. I was just doing what I was told to right? I could brush it off, he may believe that. "Dan?" It comes out more of a squeak than a confident explanation. As I turn my head, expecting to be confronted by the face of utter mortification, his warm face crashes into my own. I can feel my eyes growing wide, but also closing quickly as his strong arms comfort me, willing me to carry on. My once worried, shaking hands support his head now, fingers combing through his hair. It soon gets needy, the years of feelings I've ignored all at once. "Dan" he stops, dark eyes meeting with my own, they look exhilarated, wild almost. Though I'm remind of how careful, kind he is when his great deep dimples reappear on his cheeks. I study them. "Are you glad I suggested truth or dare?" "Shut up!" He shrieks, pushing me playfully, falling back on to the bed in laughter Dan continues. "Besides" his hand lifts my pale chin upwards, forcing me to watch the smirk appear on his face. "I'll edit it out"
