Chapter Six

Author's Note: You guys don't know how proud I am of this chapter.

Side Note: I almost changed Bandit's name in this chapter but nothing else sounded right.

(Bandit's Point of View)

The man whose name I still didn't know took my hand and pulled me out of my hand and out side. I had been out side before for walks with Master but never without a leash, I was tempted to run, explore the new scents around me or chase after one of those fast moving monsters (cars) but I knew Master would scold me, so I followed the guy to on of the monsters that wasn't moving and yelped in surprise when it opened up and I was allowed inside.

"It's okay Bandit, the cars not gonna hurt you," The man promised as he got inside too but on the other side and made it start moving. I yelped again, grabbing onto the comfy thing below me but it kept moving, fast and fast until I felt something hot and uncomfortable force itself up my throat and out onto the floor.

"Damnit," the man yelled, scaring me till hot water clouded my vision and fell down my cheeks. All I wanted was my Master to show up and make all these bad things stop hurting me but he wasn't here. I let this man take me away and now I would never see him again because there was no way I was going to survive this pain.

Once again my stomach began to burn as the sensation ate away at my bones making then snap and bend. I could hear the man curse more at the monster stopped moving but then everything was covered up my loud cries of pain. Then is all stopped, and I was on all fours again, covered in fur, seeing only black and white.

"This is going to be a long day," the man said as the monster began to move again then stopped. The man disappeared, then came back with things in his arms, then the monster moved again, I the burning stuff left my mouth again, and the monster stopped again, only this time the man put a harness on me and walked me into a shop full of animals like me, only these ones were in big medal boxes and didn't seem to know what they man was saying. He pulled me to a room near the back where he picked me up and sat me on a cold table that clicked every time my nails hit it.

"Alright Bandit, as cute as you are in this form I need you to shift again," The man said as he stood about a foot away. I didn't really understand what he was saying but I knew it had something about being a human again and I knew I didn't like that. When I was human every thing hurt and Master didn't like me. Maybe now that I was a puppy again he'll like me more, at least I hopped so. It hurt when Master wouldn't pet me or let me curl up with him.

"Alright, you shifter earlier because you were afraid, but I Kade will kill me if I scare you on purpose..." At the mention of my Master's name I got excited, making my tail wag so hard my entire butt moved with it, making the man laugh.

Some where outside the room a bell went off making the man stand and lead us out of the room. Standing there by the weird half wall was a tall woman with dark curly hair and a mean look about her. Beside her was a HUGE dog, at least twice my size, with drool coming from his chops and a lazy look about him. I sniffed him a little, seeing if he was friendly, which he must be because he just sniffed me back, but something was wrong. I think he was hurt because something smelt off about him. The man that the woman called Dr. Sawyer confirmed my suspicions by pressing against the dogs back leg, making him whimper. Dr. Sawyers hand went further down till the dog yelped really loudly. I wasn't sure if Dr. Sawyer understood so I tried to nudge his hands away from the dog.

"Well it doesn't fell broke, just sprained. I can wrap it for him but there is not much we can do, Mayor Thomson."

"Then do it."
