Chapter Thirteen: The Wedding

Bella's POV

Today is finally the day I get to marry the man or vampire I love, I couldn't ask for a better day than to get married on Christmas Day. My mother was watching me with happy tears in her eyes as Alice was getting me ready, we had a few more hours to spare before the ceremony began. Alice was applying make-up to my face as we speak, but she applied only a small amount.

I just hoped Edward wasn't having second thoughts right now, I wanted to spend the rest of eternity with Edward. Alice said, "Calm down, Bella. You're so tensed up, you need to relax because everything is going to be okay." I asked with sarcasm, "And how do you know that?" She rolled her eyes at me and replied, "Because I can see the future." I responded, "But the future is never set in stone." She replied, "Edward loves you, Bella, if you don't stop this behavior I'm going to call Edward up here." I sighed, "Fine, I'll try to relax, maybe you should put that cd in that he put my lullaby he composed just for me." Alice said with a smile, "Sure Bella."

Within a second she had the lullaby playing, I closed my eyes and I began to relax. The memories of Edwards with me in the meadow began to flash through my mind, I could feel the corners of mouth lift up into a smile.

Edward's POV

I could hear Bella's lullaby playing upstairs in Alice's room, I couldn't help but smile as I heard it play again and again. In just under a few hours I would be marrying my Bella, both of us are forever frozen at the age of seventeen. I couldn't think of anyone else I would rather spend an eternity with, Bella was going to be find forever. Just the way it was meant to be.

I could here Carlisle footsteps approaching the guestroom I was currently in, before he could knock I said, "Come in, Carlisle." He opened the door and closed it behind him as he walked towards me, he had a smile on his face. He spoke, "Your time has finally come, you're going to marry your mate. How does it feel, son?" I replied in one word: "Amazing." He patted me on the back, before leaving the guest room.

Bella's POV

Charlie had his arm looped through mine as he lead me down the stairs and outside, we slowly the long aisle. I froze where I stood when I spotted him, he looked so stunning in his black suit. He didn't understand why I wasn't moving, he thought something was wrong. I sent him a reassuring smile as Charlie lead me down the aisle towards, I could see the love he had for me in his eyes and that's what it took for me to stop worrying I had been doing since last night.

About thirty seconds later Charlie handed me over to Edward, when our eyes met I just couldn't tare my gaze from him. Esme had just finished playing the organ and had taken her spot, we turned to look at Billy who was doing our ceremony for us. He said, "Would you like to say your vows, Edward?" He replied with a smile, "Yes, I would love to." Then he brought both of my hands in his own as he began, "Bella, You are the one I want to spend the rest of eternity. You are my reason for living, you have brought meaning in my entire existence as a vampire. Without you I would be nothing, I will love you forever. I love you, Bella."

Tears had formed in my eyes at his words, I wonder how I was going to be able to compete with his beautiful words. Billy turned to me and said, "Bella, would you like to say your vows?" I replied, "Yes, I would." I took a deep unneeded breath before saying, "When I first laid my eyes upon you, I knew you were different. I was too observant for my own good, I know you would agree with me on that. Then when you save from getting crushed to death by the van, you confirmed my suspicions. When you first touched me, I felt the mating bond between us. When I told you I knew what you were I wasn't afraid of you, I was afraid of losing you. I could never live without you in my life Edward, I love you Edward. You're the only one I will love for the rest of eternity--for the rest of forever."
