Chapter one: Kidnapped

Bella's POV

Charlie was still asleep in bed, I was thankful for that. I walked into the kitchen and saw three vampires, I didn't scream because Charlie wouldn't be able to save me from them. I asked them, "Can I at least eat something before you kidnap me?" The Blonde vampire replied, "certainly, but don't take too long." I just nodded my head yes in response. 

I quickly got down a bowl and a box of cheerios. I ate as quickly as I could, I feared my dad would wake up and come down stairs. When I finished I just put the bowl in the sink and walked out of the kitchen. They were standing by the front door waiting for me. The big vampire grabbed me and dragged me towards my truck. He ordered me to get in and I did, he got into the drivers side. The blonde vampire sat next to her and the other one got into the truck bed. 

Suddenly I asked, "Where are we going?" The blonde vampire replied, "you will find out soon enough." If I wasn’t creeped out enough. Then I asked, “Are you guys the Volturi?” The blonde had a surprised look on her face, she asked, “How do you know this? Did the Cullen’s tell you?” I replied, “No, they didn’t tell me anything about you guys. I had a dream that this would happen.” Then I thought for a moment, I couldn’t have been a dream; it had to have been a vision. I was just like Alice, now I don’t feel like a normal person anymore. A power a human shouldn’t possess until they are a vampire.    

My truck was going as fast as they could get it to go, an hour later we were in Seattle. Then a couple minutes later we pulled up to an airport and walked inside. I followed them to a private jet, they must have a lot of money to be able to afford this. 

Suddenly I looked at their eyes and noticed that they were red. I thought to myself, why haven’t attacked me yet. They must have been around for more then a century. We all got into the jet, a few minutes later we took off. 

It was only a couple months ago that I was introduced to the supernatural world, a world where vampires exist. Now I was around three vampire with red eyes that could easily kill me if they wanted to. I now realize I should have told Edward my dream or vision. This was the biggest mistake of my life. I didn’t know it was going to come true. I should have known this would happen. 

A few minutes later a young woman with brown hair and blue eyes came, she gave us all a glass with red liquid in it. I asked her, “What is this?” Before she could respond, I realized it was blood. I said quickly, “I think I’m going to be sick.” The blonde vampire grabbed me and rushed me to a bathroom. I got to the bathroom just in time, I began to vomit. After a few minutes, the sickness in my stomach went away. I washed my face and we went back to sit down.

Later the woman came back with a water bottle and handed to me. I just said, "thanks." The three vampires kept their eye on me the whole time, it made me feel very uncomfortable. My dream played over and over again in my mind. I hoped I would see my Edward again. If I escaped from them how would I get back to the United States. I didn't have any more or even a passport. I hated this, why did this have to happen to me. 

The woman came back and spoke, "We will be landing in less than an hour." The blonde vampire turned to me and said, "We will be land in Italy." I just nodded my head in response. I started to wonder in any of them had any gifts. I turned to them and asked, "Do any of you have any special gifts or powers?" The blonde replied, "Yes, as a matter of a fact I do; I can cause people pain." Then I told her, "Well then, bring it on." She said, "okay then, I'll begin starting now." I took a deep breath and waited for the pain to begin, it never came." I looked at her and she had a confuse look on her face. Then I heard her say, "that's impossible." I asked, "What?" She told me through clenched teeth, "My power doesn't work on you." I replied, "You're not the first one. Edward can't read my mind." 

Then the silence began again. I was glad her power doesn't work on me; it wouldn't keep me from trying to escape. I would have to find the right time to escape from them. I don't know when it would happen, but I hoped it would be soon. 

Jane's POV

She dared me to try my powers on her and I did. I force my power at her, but it didn't cause her pain. This was so strange, this has never happened to me before. It kind of pisses me off. I muttered to myself, "That's impossible." She asked, "What?" Through clenched teeth I replied, "My powers doesn't work on you. She told me, "You're not the first one. Edward can't read my mind." 

I turned away from her, I didn't care for her much. She was just a useless human being anyway. She would probably just end up a small snack later anyway. Her scent was so strong, her blood would taste so delicious. 

Bella's POV

About over an half an hour later, we landed in Italy. The big vampire grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the jet, the other two were in front of us. We walked through the airport and into a parking lot, then stopped in front of a grey convertible. I was shoved into the back and the blonde vampire sat beside me. We took off speeding and stopped in a back of a place that looked like a palace. 

This time the blonde vampire grabbed me by the arm and pulled me towards the building. A couple of minutes later she pushed me into the room and locked it. I was left all alone in the room, I was happy for that. 

A few minutes later a young woman who was human came in with a tray of food. I thanked her and then she left the room. I slowly ate my food because I wanted to enjoy it. If I escaped from here, I probably won't eat for a while. I just wanted to get the hell out of here. 

A few hours later the big vampire came in the room and started to pull me out of the room. He started to lead me to a room where I remembered from my dream or vision.
