"Sehun? Everyone's at the hideout listening to the plan so why aren't we there again?" Krystal fumbles with her fingers nervously as he pressed the passcode to their penthouse open. "Patience, my love." He turns around and taps her nose before taking her hands in his, earning a small smile from her. He leads them both to his bedroom, and she raised a brow to this. "Sehun now not's the time to-"

"I have a gift for you." He caressed a hand across her face gently, staring her like she was the end of his world. Stepping to the bookcase right opposite his bed, he pulls one book out slanted, making the whole bookcase to push inwards, then side wards into the wall. A secret room was exposed. One with many weapons, causing Krystal's mouth to gape open.

She loved guns. Grenades, riffles, basically any single weapon that could take away a life. "Sehun I-" She feels a pair of arms slithering around her waist and she leans into his hold, embracing his wonderful boyish scent. "This is all yours, baby. We are going to war right now, so you are free to choose any of these to bring them with."

Krystal traces a finger onto a silver pistol, grinning at the texture. "It's perfect, Sehun-ah. Thank you, I like the gift." He grasp a hand onto her arms and pulls her into his embrace. "Nah uh babe, that wasn't the real gift. This is." It all happened too quickly. Suddenly, he was one knee, kneeling on the ground. Krystal was stunned. She didn't know what to say.

"S-Sehun?"

"I've been thinking a lot since you told your dad about our fake marriage. I was wondering ... If we should make it real?"

"Sehun ... I-"

"I don't know if you're ready to spend the rest of your life with me, but I'm sure as heck ready to wake up every single morning looking at your face first."

Krystal bit her lips, trying to prevent the tears from spelling.

"I love you so god damn much, Jung Soojung, and if I had to pick up the stars for you in the galaxy to prove it, I would. I would buy the whole world for you, if I could."

"Will you marry me?"

Krystal stares at the man before her. He was her saviour. The very reason that she's gotten away from all the disgusting touches. The very reason why she gets to reconnect with her sister again. The very reason she learns how to befriend people again. The very reason she learns how to love again. This was it. That moment when she was sure that he was her safe heaven. He's the one that she wants to welcome home from a tiring day at work. He's the one that she wants to cook for, and to take care of. He's the one that she wishes to receive kisses and cuddles from. He was her safe heaven, her protector, her knight in shining armour. It didn't matter if his proposal wasn't grand or seen by many. It was enough that she had witnessed it. And for her, this was just perfect.

"I do." She whispers, and she wouldn't exchange the joy spread all over Sehun's face for anything else in the world.

He carries her into his arm and twirls her around the room, excited with his newly proclaimed wife. "Finally babe, you're mine, only mine." He sets her down onto the ground and slips the ring into her left ring finger before taking her lips in his, for a long, passionate kiss.

A few hours later, after countless amount of times of briefing the plan, Krystal was settled into her father's luxury car, with him sitting next to her. It was silent all the way to Kwon Haesun's said location, none of them uttering a word.

"It wasn't me, you know?" Her father started, breaking the silence.

"One day, I came home and my youngest princess was gone. I looked all over for you. Your stepmother tried to convince me to say that you've taken the footsteps of your elder sister, by running away, but I still kept on looking for you no matter what. It was only after a few years some of my men tells me that it was her who sold you away."

"I'm sorry."

Krystal placed an arm over his signalling that it was okay. "I forgive you dad, and I missed you, a lot. Can you give me a hug before we kick some ass?" She opens her arms, and her father hugs her back, making her reminisce all the memories of their once happy family.

"I miss mom, dad. Let's kill this bastard and visit mom's grave right after that."

"Sure thing, princess."

Maybe for many this scene seemed ridiculous. How could a child forgive her father so quickly after all the things she's been through? No matter how wronged he was, even for marrying that witch, Krystal always remembers this; he was still her father, and he's the only father she will ever have in this lifetime. He was her blood.

The car skids to a stop, and Krystal opens her side of the door and steps onto the concrete platform with her suede thigh-length boots on. As she glanced up at the endless sky above her, she smiles at how bright they seemed today. And so she thought, maybe, just maybe, fate was siding her today, and victory never felt so near.

Her eyes scan through the surrounding, immediately spotting her lovely Sehun amongst the tall men in black clothing. When his eyes clicked with hers, a smile immediately appears onto his godly looking face.

Sehun jogs his way towards Krystal and gave Alex Jung a curt nod before pulling her aside. "Baby," he breathlessly said, the summer wind blowing his short fringe. "Where the heck is your safety jacket?" He frowns on disagreement, assessing Krystal's simple turtleneck and dark skinny jeans.

Krystal pats his chest and leans up so that she could reach his ears. "Haven't you heard? I'm an adrenaline junkie." He chuckles to this and shakes his head ridiculously. Shrugging his leather jacket off, he puts it over her petite frame and leaned down so that his lips were directly over hers. "Better luck next time then, adrenaline junkie."

She huffs angrily and folded her arms together, looking away, and Sehun knew he has won over this argument. "First quarrel and we've yet to walk down the aisle." He sighs, dramatically. Her cheeks turned fresh pink to this, and her eyelids batted against her cheeks furiously. She could only eye her diamond ring by her finger admirably and say nothing.

When she feels warmth on her forehead, she knew he had left her a kiss to console her. She was confident about taking Kwon Haesun down, but she could not help but to feel nervous about it as well. The jitters just never seemed to leave. She looks up and stares at his inviting pink lips, and back to his eyes, then back to his now very moist pink lips.

Not thinking twice, she decides to break the tension off and pressed her lips against his, for an assuring kiss like one would give to an army when he leaves for a battle, but in their case, both lives were on the line.

"Don't you ever die on me." She threatens when she pulls away, and he smiles at her before pulling her for a warm hug. "Have I ever failed you?" She grins into his chest, enjoying the fuzzy feeling he has to offer her.

Little did she know the leather jacket she's wearing was bullet-proof.

123456789 years later and I finally updated. I'm terribly sorry, it's just that the ending of this book is near and I had wanted it to be perfect but I'm just so not inspired right now because I barely leave my house unless if I were to hang out with my friends or go shopping with my family.

Sorry if I kept you waiting for sooooo long or mislead you to thinking that I would be updating twice as quick as I did on my last update. The end is near, I promise! And I'll make sure to wrap it up with an ending that y'all wouldn't regret reading. Thank you for waiting and stay tuned!
