You would think that after all of these shitty episode that had happened to the both of them, they deserved a happy ending don't they?

This was just the starting, the storm has yet to come after the thunder.

It didn't.

It only worsened.

There she stood, hovered over her late mother's tombstone a few weeks after that incident. She had always known that her mother's resting place had been in South Korea, but she never got the chance to visit her before when she was held back at that place.

If she even had a chance to visit her mom, she wouldn't have, no, she couldn't have. She was too ashamed of herself to face her mom. Her mom carried her for nine months and this is how she turned out?

Krystal had been traumatized and Sehun wasn't doing the very best job in helping with her recovery. He had been going out a lot nowadays, but it wasn't with his normal pals, EXO. He had been coming home late as well, and having the strong sense of nose due to her experience back at the club, he always smelled like a girls cologne.

When Dylan, Newton and Mino left, she wanted to scream at the top of her lungs for them not to leave. But the only thing she did was assure them that she was okay.

When her sister had to leave for a fashion contract to Paris, she had wanted to cry and begged for her sister to stay, but she didn't. Instead, she told her to get her something nice over there.

What about the EXO boys? You would ask, after that night, Krystal turned back to square one again, she could never look at the opposite sex without shivering for her life.

"Mommy," her lips quivered.

"Mommy, I've missed you." Krystal slowly says, gulping.

"I'm sorry." Her tears threatened to fall.

"I'm really sorry."

From afar, another figure had heard and seen it all. He rests his head onto the tree and sighs. He had to it. He just had to. For him and her. He was doing this for her, right?

He didn't even know if he was convincing himself or not.

As for the tattoo on his chest was the proof that he had to obey his father.

The EXO boys couldn't take it anymore. Sehun wasn't acting as he is, and he had the nerve to drop by and warn to them to stay away from Krystal the other day. They couldn't hold it in anymore, because if they were getting shit treatment from him, imagine Krystal.

So when Krystal heard a knock on the door, she gets startled because Sehun never knocks. Hesitating, she opens the door and gets the shock of her life to see the boys there.

"Guys," She smiles, lips small and chapped.

"Krystal!" The boys cheered and made a hell loud of a noise, before entering the loft like it has been theirs for a long time.

Kris, who happens to be the last one, reaches his hand out to ruffle her hair. "Been good, kid?"

With a faltered smile, she replies, "I'm okay."

Everyone knew that statement was a lie.

"Mei Mei, how about we hit the arcade for some time?" Tao asks politely as he slung an arm around her shoulders.

Krystal hesitated. Of course she would. Sehun had reminded her not to leave the house without his supervision. But it won't hurt if she breaks the rule once, right?

She looks up to all of them and smiled. "Okay."

A loud laugh escapes her lips, one was genuine after such a long time. Chen, Baekhyun and Chanyeol were being goofy, the tears from her eyes just had to fall.

"Wanna hit the club?" Xiumin asks. "Alright! Now there's the fun!" Jongin hollers and the rest of the boys nodded in agreement. "But what about you, Krystal?" Suho asks, taking her say into thoughts.

"Well ..." Krystal lifts her lips to form a grin.

"It it a bit chilly tonight," She rubs her hands and gave them a grin.

"Okay."

The loud booming music of the club made Krystal felt nostalgic. After meeting Sehun, she had never stepped foot in such places before. Sehun wouldn't let her even if she wanted to. He had always been looking out for her. Always.

Krystal thought that Sehun was her forever, he other half, the other end of the red string.

That's why it hurt her so much when she spotted him in the crowd as one of them, lips attached to another woman that she had never seen before.

Kris realised she was quiet and waved a hand in front of her face, not receiving any motion from her. Slowly but surely, her tears fell from her eyes one by one and that shocked the boys.

"Mei Mei?" Tao asks, unsurely, but he did wanted to comforted her though.

No one had seen what's coming next. Lay stood up from their spot and stormed his way through Sehun, taking him by the collar and punching him right in the face.

That was the second time Krystal laughed tonight, but it was a laugh that came out of a pathetic soul.
