"Someone needs to stay with TK." I said, just as we began to walk down the hallway.

"GAAAAAAH Dammit Jack, you ruined the moment!" Henry said, turning around.

I felt my face go red. "Well, someone needs to do it!"

"No you don't." TK groaned, getting up off the couch. "I'm good enough."

I sighed. "Okay. Whatever. Get on with your moment."

"Well, it's high time I get rid of this piece of garbage." TK said, throwing his bayonet across the floor.  "Did Jordan find anything else?" He asked me.

I laughed quietly. "Nothing but more bayonets."

Jordan cut me off, and grabbed something from behind the counter.

"I got a shovel." She told us.

"I'll take it." TK said, grabbing it.

The shovel was a giant dirt lifting shovel, it's shovel part covered in rust. He looked it over eagerly, and smacked me in the back of the head.

"Owwww..."I winced. "What was that for?"

"That was for making the shit move of letting me, and Satan over here come here alone." He said, angrily.

"Ummmm, can you guys continue this later?"Jordan asked. "We had a thing going here. Remember? Search the rest of the office? Ring a bell?"

"You're WHAT?" Jackson asked, still dumbfounded.

"Fine." I said, unsheathing my sword again, and we walked up to the staircase. Jackson tapped me on the shoulder.

"Yeah?"

"Did you know she was lesbian?"

"That's not the issue right now. Hell, that's not an issue at all!"

"Sorry." He said, slinking away.

We carefully walked up the stairs, ears perked for any justification of stranger presence. We reached damp hallway filled with offices, and small fending machines.

"Anybody got a quarter?" I asked.

"I threw out all my money after this started." TK said. "But I have shovel money."

"What do you-" I began.

TK smashed all 3 vending machine doors open.

"Fill up your packs."

We rushed over to the vending machines, and (instead of saving it) ate almost all the candy inside. TK cocked his head in confusion.

"Greenway is an all- organic store." Miranda explained, stuffing her face with a Jupiter Bar.

"No candy." I said, munching on a Snookers.

"Ah."

After a couple minutes of eating candy, I stood up.

"Sorry about that." I said. "Let's get on with this."

He nodded, and we continued to search through the upstairs of the police station. We hoped desperately to find more weapons, ammo, and maybe some city maps? I pushed open one of the doors, as we fanned out into the offices. I walked up to the officer's desk, pushing aside moldy donuts, stale coffee, and porn. You would think...?

I pulled open the desk drawer, and gratefully, didn't find more porn. I saw a Union city map from inside, and grabbed it. I found a large pistol in it as well, with a couple of rounds. I grabbed it, along with the ammo, and kept looking. A few pictures of a wife, and 2 kids, probably all dead now.
