"Adaline, Can we talk?" Bryson asked.
"You weren't supposed to find me." I spoke back to him, hoping I could just disappear.
"Addy, look about what you said back there .. " I could tell he was struggling to find the right words, until he spoke again.
"I'm, I've been seeing someone else.."
"I- I'm sorry I don't know what else to say." He ended.
I finally built up the courage to turn around and replied, " Then don't . I shouldn't have said what I said back there okay? Besides don't worry, I'm leaving soon anyways. "
I will admit though, it broke my heart to not hear him say that he loved me too.
Before he could say anything, I turned around and started sprinting to the house I've grown familiar with.
