Bryson's POV
Okay so I've been here for about 5 minutes now and there was no sign of Adeline anywhere . I was starting to get worried if she was going to show up or not . Wiping my sweaty hands on top my jeans, I got up and ordered myself a coffee. Alex had told Adeline to meet me up at the coffee place nearby and so here I am .
Finally after what seemed like another 5 minutes , I see Adeline walk through the door.
"Hey! You wanted to talk to me about something?" She asked while pulling up a third chair next to her, taking her own .
I looked at her a bit confused until she spoke. "Oh sorry I forgot to tell you! Josh is here . He came by my house earlier today and so I invited him here with us, if that's okay?" Her smile was slowly reaching her eyes . I could tell she was happy with him, I didn't want to go inbetween them . God, Alex is going to get it when I get home.
"It's fine . " I tried showing her that it didn't faze me , but I failed .
"What's wrong , bro. You look like you seen a ghost ." The voice of Josh soon interupted my thoughts .
"Ahh, it's nothing . So anyways, Adeline. I was thinking after this maybe you wanted to go get something to eat and then we could spend the day doing whatever you wanted ?" I asked hopeful .
She looked upset . Like she forgot we had plans .
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Brys. Josh asked if he could spend the day with me . I totally forgot about what we had planned ! " She looked at me with sad eyes and a slanted smile .
"I'm sorry Josh, but let's resc-"I didn't really have anyone texting my phone, but I just couldn't handle the pain anymore . "Uh, no it's fine ! I just got a text from Alex, he needs me at home for something , but by all means, have fun . " I gave one last look to Adeline , before leaving the shop .
