Part 10

Adeline's POV

We spent the rest of the day walking around the mall , buying things I needed on my way to New York.

"You know I'm really going to miss you." Bryson turned his head facing me , looking me straight into my eyes.

I fought every urge to kiss him , I eventually just gave him a quick look and smiled .

"Me too, Brys. Me too."

Bryson's POV

After the mall, we went to the beach to catch the sunset . I really wanted to tell Adeline how I felt tonight, but I didn't know how. I didn't know how to start, in particular . We had been laying in the sand with out backs on it talking about everything and anything for a while now.

"So you leave in a day , huh ? " I asked trying to make conversation

"Yeah, seems about right." She answered , slowing closing her eyes .

I was amazed at how beautiful she looked without even trying . Her face looked so delicate and her lips looked so soft. Oh god, how I wanted to kiss her.

I couldn't help it anymore, I slowly leaned towards her, her eyes still closed . My heart was beating out of my chest, our lips inching eachothers . I stopped and tried to catch the butterflies that were going around. Almost meeting her lips, I hear her speak .

"Brys. What are you doing ? Aren't you seeing someone ? You don't see me that way, what .. I'm so confused . " her eyes wide open .

I opened my eyes, god how my lips were so close to hers . What was I thinking ? She moved on to Josh and I'm over here trying to kiss her when I told her I was seeing someone else, even when I wasn't .

Moving away from her, I cleared my throat.
"You're right, I don't know what I was doing. I'm sorry, forget it"

"Uhh , okay? " she dragged her sentence .

A few minutes passed and she finally speaks
"I think it's time to head home now, let's go?"

I just looked at her, with a small smile and said
"Sure."
