Adeline's POV
I didn't know what got into Brys , but I couldn't just let him go without asking him what was up .
"I'm sorry Josh, could you just wait here for a sec? I need to make sure everything's fine with Brys. "
He gave me a small smile "of course, beautiful."

"Brys! Brys. Hold up!" I called behind him . He was getting ready to get into his car .
"Is everything okay ? " I tried looking into his eyes , that's where you get most answers .
Avoiding eye contact, he replied " I'm good, everything's good . Just go back to Josh , don't wanna keep him waiting .." he tried to push me away , but I see through it.
If you think I'm one to leave when my best friend needs me , you're wrong . Screw Josh, if Brys needs me right now , then I'm there .
I chuckled a bit, giving a small smile to Brys. "Screw Josh, lets go do something today. Just me and you . "
His eyes lit up like a little kids on Christmas morning . There was something the way his eyes sparkled that made me want to lean over and kiss him , but I knew he didn't see my that way so I just told him to wait while I made up an excuse to tell Josh .
10 minutes later and I'm leaving the shop after Josh & I get into the car with Brys.
"Hey how'd it go? Did he take it well?" Brys asked .
"Yeah, we just rescheduled. " I turned to smile at him and I swear I saw something in his eyes .
