field trip

Adeline was here ... 

"Sister! how good to see you after a long time!" Adeline made a fake smile.

"It's only been two weeks" I remarked.

"oh shush, it felt like forever!" Adeline said.

'of course, you don't do math, so it feels like forever' 

"Who are these people! Aurelia!" Adeline said.

'Call me Aurelia in front of my friends... okay calm down'

"The one with burgundy hair is Rin Matsuoka, The one with Olive brown hair is Makoto Tachibana, the tiny squirt called Nagisa, the one with the red glasses who's a million feet tall is Rei and This is Aurora" I didn't want to say more.

Aaron rolled his eyes, "Adeline, how is dad going?".

"He's doing better" Adeline said.

"Are we gonna go on this field trip or what?" Aurora whispered.

"can we go? I don't like hanging around places too long" I said.

"Fine!" Adelline exclaimed, "tally ho!".

The whole trip was annoying except for the part when Rin talked about where we are going and making a joke out of it, While Makoto was just telling stories of the swim clubs' funny moments.

"FIELD TRIPP! lalalalalalala!" Adeline weakly sung.

Haru didn't want to be introduced at all, he doesn't talk.. but sometimes he does.

I decided to spruce up the convo by telling a terrible joke about myself, "You'd think i'd like pop music cause i keep popping, but I like jazz" I did the jazz hands.

"Aurelia! remember that time when you tripped and fell into the pool? oh oh! what about the moment when you had boy troubles? no no wait, that's your life in a sentence" Adeline said.

"That's not nice, talking about your sister like that. You're just saying that because you like to see it happen" Haru said, surprisingly..

'thank the nanase parents for creating such a man'

'you're weird' Aurora's voice popped into my head.

'wait, how'd you get in my brain?'

'well of course, we're like soul mate but friend mates'  Aurora winked at me.

'that doesn't make sense'

Aurora chuckles sweetly, 'eye contact'

I directed my thoughts to haru, 'pool'

'what? did someone say pool?' Haru looked around.

'with water in it' 

'pool'

'what are you doing, haru?' Mako-chan.

'she's talking to me like some sort of creature!' haru said.

'you know i can hear you' 

'yes, wait you can hear thoughts? oh god' Makoto squealed.

'Well duh, Emerald eyes. Mermaids can read anyone's minds. I mean look at her' Aurora patted my head.

'Mermaid?' haru was Mesmerised.

'yeah, term for being a good swimmer. kidding, I am literally a mermaid out of water'

'duuuude! that's so cool! what does your tail look like!' Nagisa said.

'turquoise with lime green fins'
