Mama found me

I remembered my mum's wish:

-call me when you feel like it

I ran around the corner of the changing rooms.

"Guys! do you wanna say hello  to my mum?" I asked, waving my phone.

"Mhhh yes!" Aurora and Nagisa said.

I dialed my mother, "damnit, she isn't picking up".

"Why call me when I'm already here?" Athena (mama) said.

"MAMA!" I crashed into her.

"Ari-chan!" Nagisa crashed into my back.

"You're Ariel's mother? beautiful! that's where she gets her looks" Rei exclaims.

Mama laughed, "Ariel, dearie you told me in your last text that you actually made the co-captain and who is this captain?".

"It's Makoto tachibana! he's right there!" Nagisa pointed to Makoto.

"Come on Ariel, we're gonna chat with captain pretty boy" Mama winked.

"Mama! don't say that, that's embarrassing me" I said while i felt red rise in my cheeks.

Rin pushed Makoto lightly toward mama.

"go on, frady-cat. It's just her mum. She isn't going to hurt you" Rin whispered, "some day Ariel tachibana is gonna be real".

"Rin! don't say that! I don't li..." Makoto stopped.

"Good morning, captain" Mama said.

"hi, I uh, i'm the captain" Makoto said.

"you're pretty good looking for a captain. not saying that mr. Kitsch wasn't attractive at your age" Mama said.

"mama, you're embarrassing me" I said.

"oh hush, Ifi mean to embarrass you, i'll apologize for it" Mama said.

"Makoto, say something" Rei said.

"Right, sorry. yes, I am the captain, tachibana Makoto" Makoto said.

'phew'  I smiled at Makoto.

"Athena Kitsch, Ariel happened to tell me about you" Mama said.

"sh-she did?" Makoto said.

"yes, She's still really happy about you making her co-captain" Mama said.

I nodded, "still can't believe you would choose me out of everyone else".

'Thanks Mako, I really like you' 'geez you almost said that out loud'

"He wanted to because you happen to be his favourite" Rin said.

"Rin!" Makoto said.

Rin made a weird laugh like sound, "sorry cap, but it's too true to lie"

Makoto looked away, he turned red.. 

'wow he can actually blush to his ears, damned that's cute!'

"awe, Mako-chan! you know how it is with your gal pal and yourself! you should really become a thing" Nagisa said, aloud.

"Nagisa!" I exclaimed, turning redder than a few minutes ago.

"Come on! you guys know it!" Nagisa said.

"Know what? is there something Captain should be telling me?" Mama said.

"Yes" Makoto said as he hung his head.

"Alright, then tell me" Mama said.

Mama led Makoto away.

After a while, i heard mama squeak in happiness.

"Don't tell her! she'd kill me!" Makoto exclaimed.

"why didn't you tell her first! she's your true love!" Mama said.

"because I don't like telling people how i feel about them after a week!" makoto said.

"She wouldn't kill you, she'd love you like she already does" Mama said.

"what?" Makoto ran after mama.

"nothing!"Mama laughed as she walked beside me.

"Damnit" Makoto said.

 "Just talk you two" Rin said.

'gee I thought Rin likes me! damn it rin aren't you supposed to like me or something?'

'Not really, I'm only being Kind' Rin's voice said.

'shit you scared me'

'sorry, didn't mean to'

'urgh, I have to talk to Makoto'

Rin nodded.

"Makoto" I said, walking off into the forest, "come on".

"Coming" Makoto said.

"God damn it Makoto" I started.

"Why did you pick me out of everyone else!" I exclaimed.

"Because you're different" Makoto said, "and Because I-I love you".

I stopped, my whole life stopped. My heart just pounded away like usual.

My life flashed before my eyes. He was the thing missing.

"God damn it, I'm five five and you're six feet tall" I moaned, fisting the tree.

"What has that got to do with us?" Makoto asked.

"I'm shorty mcshorts and you're tall mctallerson! how can we even!" I moaned.

"Still?" Makoto asked.

"I don't know Makoto, me and math don't have the most happiest relationship ever" I said, sighing.

"Is there a problem with me liking you?" Makoto asked.

"No, There isn't any problems with you liking me. Bloody hell my hand" I said.

"Hey, Have you seen Rin?" A boy with orange hair asked.

"Momo why are you here?" Makoto hissed.

"Waiiiiit, you're cute!"Momo said.

"Rin is with our team, now leave" Makoto hissed.

"okay" Momo said.

Momo skips off.

"You sounded like a cat" I laughed.

"You were saying" makoto said.

"oh i was ranting to myself about how god damn hot you are" I laughed, clutching my sore fist.

"No.." Makoto denied.

"I wasn't kidding" I said.

"how? I thought you liked Rin"  Makoto said.

"Rin was perfectly fine with the fact that I liked him, but he said he was being kind and he wanted me to embrace the fact the he wanted me to be with you" I said.

"That's weird for rin" Makoto said.

"what? to deny his feelings?" I said.

"no, to let me have you myself" makoto said.

"I'm taking you to mama" I said, flapping my wrist all over the place.

My wrist clicked, "BLOODY HELL!".

Makoto sighed in defeat, "Come on, If you don't want to walk here".

Makoto picked me up.

"I was gonna asked if you could get Aurora" I said.

"Hey Ariel! how'd it... go?" Aurora looked at me.

"wrist please, kiss it better, it clicked" I said.

"Okay, So it went well then" Aurora grabbed my wrist and kissed it.

"Very well" Makoto said.
