AU chapter 6

You woke up and checked the time:

6:00AM.

"Good morning" Makoto whispered.

"morning" You said.

You had realised you had slept in the same bed as Makoto.

"pft, did we.. i mean.. did we?" You asked.

Makoto shook his head, "no".

'phew'

"I'm ready for practise though" You said.

"great! I am too" Makoto said.

Later...

"Ariel!" Nagisa cried.

"Hi nagisa" You said.

"Careful, she's fragile" Makoto winked at you.

"thanks" You smiled.

"Don't worry I told Rei way before you told him" Aurora said.

"Don't worry, I'm not that harsh" Rei smiled, giving you a warm hug.

"aw, where is Rin?" Kou asked.

"don't know" Haru stopped and looked around.

'Hey Nanase, i won't be at practise today. I can't face Ariel right now since she is with Makoto most of the time' -Rin.

"I just got a text from Rin" Haru said.

"really?" You asked.

"here read it" Haru handed you his phone.

"Hey Nanase, I won't be at practise today. I can't face Ariel right now since she is with Makoto most of the time" You said, later becoming confused.

"I'll text him back" haru said, gently removing the phone from your grip.

'Rin, you know Ariel isn't mean, she won't judge you'

'I realise that Dummy! I don't want to talk to someone who is already in a relationship with a team member.. A captain to be more precise!'

'She is not in a relationship with Makoto! Makoto is only trying to help her through her struggles! you have to understand, she's sensitive to things like this! she needs you to understand she is in pain every single day of her life'

'Stop lying i know what the relationship is! i don't want to talk to her right now!'

'You're talking to me! Haru gave me his phone! listen here, Rin.. If you care you should tell me. If you can't face me message me like a man i know you are then i am quitting the team and moving back to london. sort your shit out Rin, I am all ears. Haru was right about me, I am sensitive and you need to know that' you texted Rin.

'Fine! If you want to be all ears then i'll be at training soon'

'i'm glad, Rei is going to help me explain and so are the others'

"here, that bastard is gonna get a whippin'" You said.

later..

"If you wanted to leave us then so be it, leave!" Rin said, showing his sharp teeth.

"Now now, Rin. She has things to say" Makoto soothed.

You sighed, "It's harder to explain to a boy with problems himself".

"I don't have-" Rin started.

"let her finish, please" Haru said.

"I'm living in Pain, Rin. I can't just appear out of nowhere and expect everyone to know how i feel. My joints, hell.. My body is a mess! I have depression, i worry about shit that won't happen, you have to understand everyday is a struggle" You said, "It doesn't just come out of nowhere! My mother has it and it's horrible".

Rei gave you a bottle of water.

"thanks" You gulped.

You breathed, "I'm so sorry i didn't tell you. I was just afraid of what might happen to me".

"Ariel, show them please" Aurora said.

"these are my stretch marks" You said, removing your sweater. (don't worry you have togs on).

"They sure aren't pretty" Rei shook his head.

"All of you boys need to understand if i say i'm fine, i am lying. It's a mask to help you not get worried yourself" you said.
