Ariel's POV:

Almost everyone of the swim team was at my house.

'You haven't had breakfast dummy'

I excused myself and walked into the kitchen.

"WHOA JESUS!" I almost slipped.

"NYAHH" treasure meowed.

"You alright?" Makoto asked.

I felt my cheeks burning up.

"ah, yeah of-of course!" I stuttered, refusing to turn around.

I quickly opened the pantry door, "foooooood".

"What are you looking for?" Rin asked.

"oh ahhh, nothing just food" I said.

'stop stuttering! it's now obvious that you are embarrassed!'

"baka" I facepalmed myself.

"what?" Rin questioned.

"oh, nothing" I smiled awkwardly to myself.

"oh, okay" Rin said.

my cheeks got redder as a hand touched my shoulder.

"mhe!" I squeaked.

"sorry! i'm just helping you" Makoto exclaimed.

"my angel..." I whispered.

"You don't have anything except for expired things" Makoto stated.

'shiiiit go to the market! go shoe!'

"Well, why don't we head to the markets, huh?" I asked.

"yeah sure" Makoto said.

"of course" Rin said.

'Rin, I wanted Mako-baby to come with me ;-;'

I sighed, "okay, you can come too".

"Rin, can I talk to you for a moment?" Sousuke asked.

"Yeah sure" Rin said.

"arigato, Sousuke-kun" I said, handing him treasure.

"don't worry! I have it all under control my little rei of sunshine!" Sousuke said, smiling as he roughed up my hair.

I got ready.

I felt a warm hand collect my tiny one, I jumped.

"it's okay.. It's just me" Makoto said, "you're freezing Ariel".

"I am?" I said, realizing that my cheeks were burning.

"yes" Makoto smiled, "you're so cute" With that, he kissed my forehead.

"Hmmm, but the good thing is that I have a hottie to warm me up" I said, before realizing what i said.

'shiiit'

"I'm not that attractive- hey, it's fine.. It's just you haven't really talked to me in a while.. Ariel" Makoto said.

"I'm not much of a talker, I'm sorry Mako-kun" I said.

"Heh, it's fine. You don't have to add kun, senpai or chan to my name, Makoto is fine" Makoto said.

"ohkay, are you sure?" I asked.

"I'm sure" Makoto smiled.

'ah'm dying'

"I'll pay for the stuff we get, Ariel" Makoto said.

"oh no no no, si vous play" I begged.

"What did you say?" Makoto asked.

"Please! Don't pay!! I don't think It's a good idea to let you pay" I said.

"Not at all! I love you too much to let you pay for the groceries" Makoto said.
