It was the day. The day I was looking forward to for so long. But I couldn't tell Masamune that I was so excited for it. We moved in together.
After looking through all of the magazines and ads, we found someone who helped us find the perfect house for us.
It was kind of small, but it was only the two of us and maybe a child in the future. It was made of brown bricks and had a beautiful door to match. It was wonderful and reminded me of something that was in a manga I edited.
There were two bedrooms, about the same size. There were two bathrooms, one connected to the master bedroom and the other near the kitchen. There was a big room that we decided could be used for us to use for editing manga together. It was also close to the Marukawa Publishing building.
My parents and Ann came over and helped Masamune and I take our things to the new house. It would be extra money, that we didn't need to spend, to pay for a moving truck, so we just made a few trips back and forth from the apartment building to the new house.
On the first night there, we cuddled in our bed since we didn't have a television set up to watch yet.
"Masamune..." I started.
"Yeah?" he mumbled. He was really worn out from carrying most of our things. Which I don't understand how in the world he is so strong since he is just a manga editor.
"We moved in together. But... we aren't even married yet..." I said quietly, but he heard me.
His eyes widened. "What are you saying? You want to get married?"
"...Maybe..."

The next day, some neighbors came over. They were extremely kind to us and I really liked them. It was a family of four. A mother, a father, a son, and a daughter. The parents even helped us unpack some things while the children played outside.
After everything was unpacked, we all sat down in the living room and had tea that I made.
"So, tell us about the area." I said. "Do you think this is a good neighborhood?" Masamune said, having a good attitude and smile like always when talking to people other than everyone at work.
"Oh it's a very nice place." Said the wife, Amy. "There's lots of nice people around our age living around here. There's lots of young children too."
"Oh, that's great!" I said with a smile. "Um... Where do your kids go to school?" I asked.
"Oh, there's an elementary school pretty close to here. There's also a junior high and high school not too far too. I think they are wonderful schools." said Amy.
"That sounds nice." Masamune said.
"Are you two thinking of adopting?" Asked the husband, Josh.
"Maybe..." I said.
"Oh that's wonderful! Children are so amazing. It's the best feeling just talking to them and playing games with them."
"Yes." Said Masamune. "It does sound like a pleasure to have them around."
After that, we talked a little bit more. After about an hour, they said their goodbyes and left.
"They're really nice." I commented.
"Yeah." Said Masamune. "Hey, do you really want to maybe... adopt? I mean after we're married, of course."
"Yeah. Don't you think it would be nice?" I said.
He smiled. "Yeah... It truly would be amazing."

OH MY GOSH I'm sorry if the names of the neighbors sound like such basic names. They were the first names that popped into my head. They're not even Japanese names oops!
ANYWAY I hope you liked it! And I'm sorry for not updating that much. I'll try to update a little more frequently.
