Wow I have been updating so much more lately haha I have lots of free time right now

It was Thursday and I didn't know what to do. There was too much going on for me to handle. I had the competition tomorrow and I didn't think I was emotionally stable enough to do that. I decided to write a letter to Masamune. It said,

Takano Masamune,

There's something going on that's kind of important to me happening tomorrow. I thought you should know why I asked for the day off. It's not for the reason you think. It's because honestly, I really enjoy singing. I have a singing competition that I was accepted into tomorrow. I want to share my voice with the world. I didn't want to tell you in the first place because I was afraid that you might think it was weird or that I just wanted to get farther away from you. But that's not true. The truth is, I really do love you and there is no other person in the world that has ever made me feel the way you make me feel. I have no idea what was going through my head when I broke up with you. I know I shouldn't say this, but I want you back. You will most likely not want to be with me again, but I just wanted to tell you the truth about everything that has happened lately.

I don't expect you to get back together with me, but I hope you will at least forgive me, Onodera Ritsu.

I put that letter in his mailbox when I got home from work that night. But I didn't think he would see it until the next day because he got home before me. I stayed later after because my author got her manuscript in late. Anyway, I had to get sleep. The next day was going to be a long one.

There were many good singers and it was really making me nervous. I thought about backing out of it, but I never back out of something I start.

It was the last singer before I went on. Luckily, there was a break right before it was my turn.

"Next up after the short break will be Onodera Ritsu."

I sighed in relief. Thank god, I thought. I went outside for a little bit for some fresh air. I was getting so nervous, I felt like I was going to pass out any second.

I was sitting back on a bench in the sunlight when all of a sudden, I felt the sun's warmth disappear. I opened my eyes and saw someone in front of me. The last person I expected to see there.

"M-Takano?" I asked, surprised. "What are you doing here?"

"I got your letter. Im here to support you. Idiot."

"But-"

"No" he interrupted me "let's not talk about it right now. We can later. Come on, let's go inside. You're starting soon right?" He said with a slight smile on his face.

"Y-yeah... But I'm sort of nervous." I said as we walked toward the building.

"Don't be. I have all of my faith in you."

I blushed. "Thank you."

"Good luck." He said as he pushed me towards the door that lead backstage.

I showed the security guards my pass and I walked through the door.

A few minutes later, a man announced "The break is now over. It will soon be time for the next singer to perform."

Two minutes later, the man spoke again. "All right everybody, it is time for Onodera Ritsu!" I walked out from behind the curtain and up to center stage.

I began to sing...
